I’m having a negative experience right now trying to sell a bag and not sure what to do. I sent JuliaRoseBoston my Chloe Nile over a month ago now and the communication has been horrible. I’m constantly having to email and ask for updates to know if my bag has been received, processed, and posted. I’ve been given so many incorrect updates . I was told my bag would be posted the same day it was unboxed and it never was. Then I was told it would be posted that upcoming Friday and it never was. Then I was told it was posted the following week and would be posted again during a Thursday Chloe bag roundup. I watched her stories that day and. I roundup was done nor did I see my bag. I don’t think it’s ever been posted because I check her stories on the daily and have never seen it. It’s very frustrating because I could be trying to sell it on my own but trusted her to post it for me so I could get exposure to her followers. Now I don’t know if I should keep following up or have the bag sent back to me. It doesn’t seem like she has any interest in actually selling my item

Hi guys, just double checking timeless with audrey- I saw somewhere she apparently had issues with her Instagram account, is she back/all things sorted? As in her account hasn't been hacked and taken over? I'm paranoid about these things... xD

Sorry to dig up such old posts, I took a hiatus from purseforum in the last year and just came back recently (the addiction was getting too real).

I recall this happening last year. The person who was commenting on Orchmelia's posts actually private messaged me on Instagram because she saw that I had tagged Orchmelia in a few posts, and her message was super bizarre. The person asked if I've bought bags from Orchmelia before and if I can help her because she's been scammed. I replied that I had bought bags from her before and asked what the issue was, she saw my post and then she didn't respond.

I thought this was really odd because if she had really been scammed, she would have replied to my message to explain what happened.

Another real life friend of mine who also shopped with Orchmelia received the same message, and was also ghosted after asking for more details. I then saw that this person had commented on so many of Orchmelia's IG posts saying that she was a scammer, but she couldn't provide any more details about how she was scammed in her comments or in her private messages to me (and my friend). I honestly feel like this person was just a troll.

That being said, I haven't purchased from her in a year. The last purchase I made was for the 19A Reissue Mini, which I didn't get a discount for (and actually paid the retail + personal shopping fee). I think she's been super bombarded with requests, and lots of people are shopping around with IG personal shoppers so they ask for the price then ghost.

Seeking advice please... I‘ve been ISO a hard to find Chanel bag for months, and came across one through an Instagram seller that someone recommended. First red flag with the seller is bank transfer only for payment, but i am trying to push PayPal. Second is no returns. third is it took her 2-3 days to give me the pics I requested for authentication, which someone on TPF pointed out could be sketchy. I posted the pics here (waiting for authentication) and I also paid for auth service from Lollipuff who said it’s authentic. But now I’m scared that b/c of the wait on the photos, they might be stolen photos and that I’ll be sent a different bag which I can’t return.

maybe I’m being overly paranoid but I’m torn. I’ll only purchase if I can buy through PayPal so there’s at least some protection, but if it turns out to be a scam, will I have any recourse?
If you use paypal invoice you shoulf be protected as a buyer.
