Oh I see. I understand how you feel about the roman numberals. The diamond markers or the sticks will be great on a Rolex.

I love the watches you have posted! Unfortunately I have to go the preloved route & in my price range I have to look at slightly older models. You mentined about the watches I posted being outdated... you might be right. At what point does a watch become old fashioned vs classic? I tend to lean towards more vintage looks in my clothes & jewellery so I wonder if an older watch would then be ok?

I think the first one with the diamond markers would look the best with your rings and would be a more versatile wear anywhere watch. Having the silver dial, that watch will be beautiful with both lighter colored clothes and darker colors clothes. It's a very sleek neutral watch.
The two tone will look too busy with your rings IMO, as two tone is already busy by itself. Just my opinion. Your rings are gorgeous by the way!

Originally, I was getting a Rolex for my 30th birthday next year but DH has said I can buy one Thursday instead! I'm super excited but I feel so unprepared!

About me: I tend to lots of burgundy, navy, grey & black. I wear dainty jewellery. I wear small RG diamond bezel studs & either a small dbty in SS or small RG diamond pendant. Sometimes YG hoops. The issue is with my plat. Diamond/green diamond wedding set - I'm worried that I'll buy a watch which clashes with it since I'm wearing it on the same hand. Here's a pic:

From January 2018 I will be a stay at home Mum so working environment doesn't matter.

I have narrowed it down to these choices. They are very different.

I think this one would clash the least with my rings. BFF thinks the diamonds are too blingy for my look. It's also the most expensive option.

I like the black face on this as it's a bit different. Would go with my rings but not feminine enough to go with other jewellery?

A TT option which seems less "bright" & might clash less with my rings. BUT since my gold is RG will the YG in the watch match ok?

This watch feels very "me" & vintage. Goes nicely with my wardrobe. Will IT clash with my rings? Will it flash with RG jewellery?

Thank you so much for your help.
I would go with your first choice, I feel it is timeless

Thanks for the kind words about my rings :hugs:

You have pinpointed exactly my worry about the two tone - the watch is busy which is fine if I had plainer rings. But my rings, especially with the green diamond band, seem too much with it. I could wear that ring on the other hand... I just like all 3 together

I'm sorry but photos aren't going to help you as much as you might imagine. You have to try on in person to know how watches look on you. You could easily find that a dial you expect to like looks like nothing on you but another one you had dismissed in pictures looks sensational.
Go to Rolex and try on, and do so a few times if necessary. It's quite the educational adventure.
