Anyone regret purchasing any of their MK bags? Every time I purchase my MK bags I feel so excited and can't wait to use them. However there are times I just never took them out to use them and just store them on my shelves for a few weeks or even a month. In that case I just return the bags, that I never used. That's fine..... but for the bags I used a few times, I couldn't return them because of final sales, used, etc. Sometimes I find some of my bags not practical for my every day usage. There's been months or even a year that I didn't use particular bags and I regret purchasing it. Even though I got the bag with a very good price, if I'm not using it's going on a waste. Share your experiences here and tell me your opinions.

Few years ago when I was still new to Michael Kors, I bought an outlet version Hamilton which has a gold plate instead of a lock. Back than I didn`t know it`s an outlet exclusive version as it costs almost the same as the main store version, and I bought it just because of the color. In fact, I didn`t even know the store is an outlet `cuz the store is in a regular mall instead of an outlet. It wasn`t until after when I visit the regular store that I can tell the craftmanship and the leather quality is different, enough though the price isn`t that big of a difference. Not that there's anything wrong with getting an outlet version, I do love the color afterall which I don't see at the regular store; however I kinda felt that regret not knowing there's another version when I made the purchase...

I once bought a preloved MK bag that oozed sigarettsmoke when it arrived. I hate that smell. Gets into everything and is so hard to remove. I could have returned it, but it was an exstremely rare bag. So I washed the interior, sprayed odor removal on it, stuffed it at left it for months. Now the smell is finally gone, but I'm not as excited about this bag as I am with my other bags. My friend also bought me an outlet version wallet in soft skin. I prefer saffiano, and rarely use it.

Oh no!!! My first purchase was the hamilton too!!! I purchased from the MK boutique and the first time I saw it from MK outlet it was selling the outlet version for the same price that's insane. The quality is not as nice but the bag still looks good!!! My hamilton started to scuff from the corners after the first few months so I'm sure the quality of the older version of the hamilton was not that good, that's why they discounted the pebble leather and have the saffiano leathers instead. That's my guess...

Awww I understand your situation, there's a few times that I received a bag that was not the same as described and I argued with the seller. They normally refund me partially or they ask me send it back. If it's a rare bag I rather keep it and see it I can fix. Well next time you can try using baking soda to remove the odor from the inside!

I think you are right about the soft leather. I counted seven of these bags put up for sale this morning. Seems like people are getting rid of them for some reason? Thanks for the baking soda tips. To you disolve it in water and then wash it?

Have you seen these before? http://www.homedepot.com/p/Arm-Hamm...dge-and-Freezer-Odor-Absorber-01155/203424803
I usually pop it in the fridge, but it should be fine to put inside the bag to absorb the bad odor. You don't want to clean the inside with water because if you don't remove the moisture of the inside, it can cause bacterials that causes the musty odor. I recommend using leather cleaner/conditioner if the interior is leather and place the baking soda over night inside.
O.O What sale??? US stores?

Thanks! No, unfortunately it is a site here in Norway. Mostly black with shw and ghw, and luggage with shw and ghw. Nice bags, but I prefer structured bags.

:amuse: No problem! Oh I see, anyway I'm :banned: from purchasing anymore MK bags for this month, I just purchased 2 MK bags within 2 days. But I can't resist the good deals, I can see myself regret buying one of them. But I can always give it my mom or sell it.:shame:

I regret my Large Navy Selma purchase :( I bought it on 25% off while i was in the states so the price wasnt too bad. I just hate that I dont use it, it just sits in the dustbag at the top of my shelf. I find it a little too small for the stuff i need to bring to uni/lab (also a bit too nice for the lab) but also a bit too big to take out casually when I have other smaller bags which fit exactly what i need
