Wow they are pricey. Do they hold their value? I sell my bags often as I always see something else I want later or find myself not using the bag as I thought so I sell. I see on the preloved market they go for about $3k, give or take. The traditional ones start at what price?

Yep I agree! The only one I saw that's a little more than retail is the casablanca mosaic and the Mary Katrantzou one which is hard to find but the regular serpenti don't. I think the target market for these bags are the collectors. The sizes of these bags are small as well and won't even fit a bigger phone. They are almost at par with Hermès (retail) or a Chanel medium classic flap with these prices I rather get a LV capucines or a chanel 19

My large snakeskin Bvlgari bag was a bit more than $4,000 and tbh the way it had issues after wearing a handful of times makes me feel it was not worth the cost.
For Bvlgari to charge these prices when they don't have a long history of leather craft, nor quality , and one of the worst customer service, is obscene.

Yep their customer service sucks by my experience as well and by just getting a replacement box was a pain. Regardless how pretty these limited edition bags are I cannot justify paying that much for it.
