Hello,

thank you for your comment. Yes, I've asked in the store.
Here's what I was told: Water isn't that bad, it will get in the marble and make it darker but it will dry out, so the ring will go back to normal when it dries.
Bad for untreated marble are any acids. So you have to be very careful with spilled drinks (juice, coke, cocktail), while eating fruits, etc. If you get something on the ring, eg while eating an apple with yoiur hands, you should use water immediatly to get the spills off.
To be honest I just couldn't resist any more. I've been eyeing this ring for weeks and after 3 weeks (to be exact) of thinking about it, I got it. I really like the fact that every single ring is unique.

I'm proud to present my new baby :D
Hello, I've registered right to reply to this thread :)

I'm working as junior sales manager for the company which produces Bulgari's marble rings (we produce the inner and outer part, thus the marble AND the internal carbon fiber) and I've been really surprised by what the shopkeeper told you! Actually all three marbles have been selected and undergone 420 tests (!!), including being cooked in an oven for three hours and being left in a glass of lemon juice for a whole week. Actually, if you tried to stick your finger inside a glass containing muriatic acid, your finger would get damaged but your ring would still look the same :-)

So, don't worry, go ahead and do whatever you want to do as if you were wearing nothing. The ring is VERY resistant, almost indestructible... You can try to throw it against a wall and it won't break (that's thanks to the carbon fiber which gives it strength).

I'm the person in charge for all business relations between the company I work for and Bulgari, therefore, should you need any further info, I remain at your disposal.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. I'm interested in the marble ring but hesitated because I wasn't sure of its durability. Good to know :)

I have the black enamel and rose gold version of this ring.
I have only had it three days but am finding that everything is catching between the enamel and gold (its then stuck and i have to tug really hard to get it out, strings, hair act).
I took it into the store and she said that was normal but i feel as though this shouldn't be happening
can any other owners advise

as to the other posts i do find this ring comfortable to wear everyday

I own the 5 band version in white gold. I have had it probably 6-8 years or so. It is turning slightly yellow and it is starting to bug me so I will take it to bulgari. I have the black ceramic with silver charity one and I don't find it catches with anything. But I am very curious to know if others find the rosé gold with the ceramic or enamel catches with stuff as you have experienced because I am thinking of getting it in white or the new design that is steel with rosé gold. So if anyone else has issues with the ceramic one please let us know.

Oh and I love my 5 row one. It is super comfortable and I wear it on my r hand middle finger. The only issue is that when I wash my hands (which I do about 20-30 times a day) it stays wet because it is solid and wide, so I don't wear it to work that much anymore. But I love that ring.

^^ I don't think they are sizable.

I am between sizes, trying to make up my mind. If i go bigger, I can only wear it on one finger instead of two, if I go smaller, I can wear it on both fingers.

Hey hey! Wow cool job!
Would this be the same for the rose gold and black ceramic ? I'm just deciding on colours at the moment, but love the black, but it is as durable as the marble?

Hello Lidia, thanks for your request! Nope, unluckily ceramics is not as strong/hard as marble, it is way more fragile (indeed, it is also less expensive).
Have you thought about going for a dark brown marble one?

Hi, last December 2014 I got the Bulgari B. zero black ceramic ring as a present and the other day that I was wearing it I realized that the gold part was loos so when I checked it it totally came off the ceramic 😱and you could see it was glued to it. 😳I'm taking it to Bulgari but has this happen to anyone before ? is this common?, for such a "good quality" high end ring .
