I have no idea, sorry. There is a bag limit, I hear (I've never tried to purchase more than 1), but not sure if the countries share the same system. Don't think they do.

I'd go down the road of having to deal with this (good) problem when you get there. :)
No need to think about all of this now until you've actually made the first purchase, otherwise, you'll be overthinking and over-planning things. I assume you'll head to both both stores anyway, so just try each time!

Thank u for all the help & advice from you! im sincerely thanking u from the bottom of my heart for all your selfless sharing and help, will definitely share my experience! so i decided to go Brussels & Paris, and try my luck everyday!

Leeayo, the Brussels store has pretty good inventory and the service is quite good. I don't know if Julie, my previous SA, still works there but you will find the staff generally helpful. You do not need a purchase history OR to buy multiple items to get offered a birkin or kelly - it all boils down to timing.

Also, Brussels is NOT a tiny town NOR is the Hermes Brussels boutique on Bv de Waterloo a tiny boutique. Brussels is a sophisticated city. The H Brussels boutique is decent sized and in fact probably bigger than many Hermes boutiques in the US. It is located on the main upscale shopping street. If you have time, go around the famed markets for which Brussels is renowned.

I really just do not understand why some people here persist on giving their opinions on boutiques they've never stepped foot it. How does that help newbies asking for info that might help them when they visit these specific boutiques?

It's all relative what one person thinks as a small and what others think isn't. I live in a city with a population of 8.5M. It was caveated that I hadn't been in the boutique, but it doesn't mean I haven't walked by or know others who have visited (have a good friend who lives there).

Can't think of why Brussels wouldn't be a sophisticated city - the EU Parliament is based there (and Strasbourg), a subway system exists, there's a good medical system and infrastructure (would know as I had to be hospitalized there), etc.

By get lucky do you mean get a B/K? I was there at the beginning of December, and was I walk in the store, a bunch of tourtists was at the register checking out, they had big boxes, but I don't know what was inside.


I ask the SA if it was possible to get a B/K, and she said not for walk ins. You have to be on the list for one or one and a half year in order to be offered.

Got the same response last year, B and K are only for those on the list

That's good to know. I was under the impression, as other people stated, that it was not possible as a walk in.
