I wonder why she chose black, thick, clunky shoes for herself and the flower girls. I'm not a fan.
Hate to diss a happy bride that has done nothing to deserve snark, but...I've seen pictures of her here and there and a fashion icon she is not.

They were teal, her something blue. I agree with the clunkyness, not a fan either.

Agreed on the velvet. And I think you’re right, I don’t think she’s really worried about fashion- in many ways I’m surprised we got such a beautiful, classic gown, I thought she’d go more boho.Besides the clunky heel I found the velvet an odd choice. Makes the vibe very...heavy.
She looked lovely. The neckline and the keyhole back were very nice. The shoes would not have been my choice lol! I guess she was trying to inject some originality or humor into an otherwise traditional outfit.Agreed on the velvet. I read that they were picked from the family gardens, so that's about right.I looove the dress, but the bouquet looks like one of the kids went into the garden, picked a few flowers and said: “Here you go.”
That's what I like about it, not too perfect! Also the greenery round the church entrance is spectacular!I looove the dress, but the bouquet looks like one of the kids went into the garden, picked a few flowers and said: “Here you go.”
