Thank you, I love my brooch. Gets me huge compliments every time I wear it ad my first ever Tiffany piece.

It's a lovely piece, so good looking on you.

It was horrible to have to take it back since it was so nice and so much of the money went to such a important cause.

I noticed Tiffany has many gold bracelets of a similar size in all sorts of other designs too with the same mechanism so obviously they sell well and I'm in the minority, but I just could't do it.

The modern, 'non-sentimental' (I don't quite know how to explain what I mean in another way) design of the elephant is what made it work for me.

Did you check with Tiffany directly, there maybe some still lurking in draws somewhere, the online locator is not always accurate.

No, I didn't check with Tiffany yet, since I just recently got myself the DBTY I wanted for a long time, so I shouldn't really buy something else at the moment.. :angel: Maybe I'll wait and see if I find a pre-loved one when I'm ready to buy.

I have a feeling Tiffany didn't know how popular they would be. I bought the last of only 2 XLs at my store, that was also the last one left in rg WW.

I admire your self-discipline, I am very weak when it coms to jewellery. Congratulations on your DBTY, always good to get items you've been wanting a long time.

To be honest I don't have that much self-discipline. When I was in store I saw a beautiful Olive Leaf Pendant which I keep eyeing online. ;) My wishlist is basically a never ending story.. But I'm trying to be reasonable for now!

Has anyone seen the new lion, rhino or elephant Save the Wild charms IRL? I want the lion but don’t know how mini the mini is or how large the large is, the site gives no measurements. I want people who see it on me to know it’s a lion but also don’t want it to look like a hood ornament.

I am not sure but would love to see some modeling photos from anyone. I am interested in the sterling silver elephant charm since elephants are my favorite animal and I would love to help them.

Also, I am dying to know if this collection is limited edition or if they will be selling all of the pieces for a while since there are other items currently on my wishlist.

They are limited edition. This is the second round of items in this collection. There is a thread in this forum you can refer to. I bought the sterling silver elephant charm from the first release and now it's gone from the web site. I wanted the matching bracelet and now I'm out of luck because that is gone as well. If you search Instagram, I've seen some pictures of the new charms which gives you an idea for scale.

I saw them in person, but didn't take any pictures unfortunately. I was wondering this too in deciding which to get and seeing them didn't really make the decision easier. They're both decent sizes. The mini isn't super tiny, while the large isn't overwhelming.

For the lion and elephant, the contrast of metals really adds to the design, so that may be something to consider.
