I arrived early on Wednesday morning once the store opened as I intended to purchase a kelly belt and the new o'kelly bracelet. I realized that I tend to gravitate towards Kelly designs since I started my H journey not too long ago. The same hostess introduced me to an SA almost immediately, much to my surprise since my appointment was supposed to be 11.30am.

The SA who served me, on the contrary, was not as warm as the hostess. She was polite but business like and asked me what's on my wish list. I told her I already owned an abricot K28 retourne and would love to have a K25 sellier in gris. She looked me in the eye and said, colour is Hermes DNA, so for me to score a Kelly in a classic colour is unlikely but she'll check.

She disappeared for a long time and I didn't keep my hopes high cos of her lukewarm attitude. However she did emerge with an orange box and utter the magic words,"madame , follow me please". My heart started pounding again when we entered the dressing room. Then she unravelled the packaging and mumbled, " I managed to get what you want..." I couldn't believe my ears
oh my, beautiful bags but the kelly is fantastic

That little Evelyne *swoon*!! I was in Barcelona in October and made a pass through the store, with an eye toward getting a TPM in a neutral. I'm pretty much a small bag person at this point in life. To begin with, the guard at the door was not very welcoming, and it had nothing to do with my appearance. The staff at the FSH store was actually much friendlier when I was in Paris last year. There is a lesson for me here. Funny, because I've always preached to my children that it never hurts to ask. The worst that can happen is you get no for answer, but as your experience shows sometimes you may be very pleasantly surprised. Also, that persistence pays off.

Happily, I ended up going a few doors down and buying a beautiful Loewe bag that I adore, and the saleswoman could not have been nicer.

Congratulations...the SA was one of the best I'd met and she kept saying "no pressure, no pressure, madame " when I turned down a GP30 and a Pico 18.

I am so jealous! Now I really regret not asking in October. I thought maybe it came with the matching beige strap and you bought the other one separately. You truly have a collector's item. My husband is in Marbella on business this week. I am tempted to send him on a mission to the store there, but he doesn't understand my handbag addiction and would think I'm crazy.

Good chance to ask for a Valentine's Day gift from him ;)?
