Box is no doubt one of the best looking leathers,,

I have a question and can't be bothere staring a new Thread...

I have a 28 RH retourne Kelly and have been thinking if I should look to buy a same spec bag but in black ... Black one is def for work...or any other colours you would recommend for work?

My preference is still a kelly

It is a Bi-Color Kelly 32 Blue & Green. I agree with you that box is the best leather. There is something special about it

As the recent discussion is about Rouge h so may be I'll share some pics of my boxcalf here. Hope you don't find her too "juvenile" to be in this thread [emoji16]. Size 25, born in year N in a square.

An older bigger sis of her, born in year T in a circle (1990). Yes, I found the older boxcalf more buttery too.

never too new! It's all about box calf from 60 plus years ago until today. You're so lucky to have found a K25 in box!

OMG. I hate it when people say "I die", but. I die. Gorgeous. My Noisette box Bolide is also 2001. Your B is a little darker, I think (and in much better condition ) Noisette in box is just amazing, up there with Rouge H, Bleu Saphir, and Raisin.

She looks amazing! How do you find boxcalf leather on a B? I'm assuming it keeps the structure better?
