Love it!! :loveeyes: That's one hot bag! Good choice; I agree about the conflicting details-so irritating! On the plus side, I checked out the pebbled black, and even the sample with all the stuffing in it, it's slouching :push:...and I think the strips on the bar-stripes may just be too wide for me. The ones on my patchwork are divided into smaller pieces, so I think it helps to make the bag seem smaller-maybe a case of optical illusion?? Haha; but from the sounds of it, seems like they're excluding the borough again for sure. I think it may be time to look elsewhere for me too, once I get a few more Prestons and whatnot ;)

My SA told me that this applies to all bags, that once you use PCE, you can exchange for an identical bag but if it is a new color or new style, you don't get the PCE price any more. She was frustrated too but said they are trying to limit PCE use and make sure it is only to the person who received it and only during the PCE period.

Thank you! I get the point, but it's so hard to buy these bags sight-unseen! If the store had them, I wouldn't have needed to run back and forth for exchanges. And especially when I'm told I need to pay more, for something that was originally the same price...

I agree! And closing more boutiques won't help customers decide upon new merchandise. Not helpful!

I have a large pebbled black and medium pebbled alpine moss and have used both a lot. I keep the two outside zippers zipped all of the time and neither one of mine look anything like this girl's! They have very little slouch....a little yes....but not much.

Thank you!! I'll keep thinking, after I get the black marobox :laugh:. Just called JAX, and was miffed that they told me 14 of the oxblood are still available! The lady told me were none yesterday, when I was in the store. Lesson learned: definitely only go through my SA now; I'll call before every visit, to make sure she's there when I drop in!

I have 3 large boroughs 2 of them are pebbled leather 1 in black and 1 in alpine moss I use them both a lot and it has some slouch but not much , it is why i got the pebbled leather after seeing SJP's photo carrying the large alpine moss, I like the slouch IMO , , 1 borough in large retro glove leather in warm grey and she's definitely structured, some wrinkles but that's to be expected on this leather ...

Looking at this pic and my experience with the bag, it's only slouching because of the weight hanging on the handles while it's on her arm. I think if it was sitting there wouldn't be any slouch at all. As far as mine, no slouch at all and I've used it quite a bit. I guess time will tell but I don't think she will slouch a lot unless I loaded it down with a ton of stuff. And you could easily do that with this bag. It's almost a tote with sections. She will hold a lot but she will also get really heavy too so I wouldn't do that very often if at all. I'm telling you though - slouch or no slouch - this bag is stunning! I put her up there with my Carolines. Based on what I've seen, the pebbled seem to have softer leather so I think they would tend to slouch more than the smooth leathered Bs.

Thank you for your reassurance freak4coach! I was in fact tempted to exchange the marobox for the bar-stripes, until when they told me I had to pay more :faint:. Well, hello?? Those two are originally exactly the same price! I'll see if I like the black marobox any better, when it arrives; if not, I'll ask my SA to see if she can do that for me. I don't think I'd need to switch across styles, if the stores are properly stocked with these boroughs! Boo :shucks:

I didn't realize they used to be the same price. That stinks! I can see why the striped would be more though since there's more work involved. I don't think you can go wrong with either one but I'm a little biased towards the striped - for obvious reasons. LOL! Maybe I need to post another pic to tempt you :graucho:
