Borough slouch-how much?

I like the Borough because of the rigid structure.... I don't like the way that one is slouched at all. Eek!

I agree...and I had to really work to get the pebbled bag to stand up that straight. I recently started a new position that requires a more professional wardrobe. I pulled out my pebbled Borough and realized that it looked kind of dumpy. I purchased the polished version during the last PCE and think that it will look much nicer.

I really do appreciate the post. I've been wavering between the pebbled and polished and I'm definitely going with the polished now... I have so many slouchy bags already.

Thank you for your review on the pebbled! I loved the feel of the leather, but I was hesitating for exactly that same reason. Hmm...

I would think the large would slouch more than the medium. Plus the large is heavy.

Do you really need the large? Someone on tpf was able to get a red bar stripe in the medium with a slightly different pattern.

I wonder if the seams on the bar stripe would give it more structure.

Hmmm what is this you speak of? I have not seen a red bar stripe one! :graucho:

So I went to the store today; I thought my SA is there all day, but maybe I popped in too late and didn't see her. The one who helped me said that I can only exchange within the same style numbers; if I want to exchange for another one, then I can't get the 25% from the PCE and have to pay for the price difference. I was like what??? Oh well. My oxblood also had two dents on the edges of the handles, and she was trying to tell me that is normal...I told her that if it's to be expected with this leather, then I would like to go for another kind.

After more spiel from her saying that the boroughs are never included in the PCE except that last time, I ended up just exchanging for the black marobox-hope that one will be fine! It looks amazing in cathead87's pictures anyhow. Coach needs to stop thinking their boroughs are the holy grail though!

Aww! I actually spent my Bourogh fund on this today... oops! I'm just uneasy with the quality and PCE conflicting details that I decided not to wait around. Maybe come fall I'll pick one up when Coach has their stuff figured out...
