Hi my bag was not an SO. Its definitely not togo or clemence. It came from the store and SA also said the leather is fjord when it was offered.

IceEarl and Hermes Only your BdP Birkins look very next. I was also considering this color before I finally settled on BA. I would have been happy either way!

Hi Hermesaholic is right. Just found out from the manager at my store that BA in vache fjord was available in f/w 09 but this season. HTH.

Her message:
"The Birkin your purchased in November is a Vache Fjord. In fall/ winter 2009 we did make a Vache Fjord birkin in Bleu Abysse (new color for f/w 09). Vache Fjord is not available this season."

I've only seen BA in clemence and it is rich and beautiful. Goes especially well with jeans. I don't think you can go wrong with either color. Good luck with your decision. I look forward to your reveal!

Oh no and I just thought that I made an decision .
It's now morning here and I have to travel to another city today but luckily there's a H. store .
Hope I can see the BA in Clemence IRL today, wish me luck .
Actually I should be in a hurry now, because I'm already late but I can't help it, I had to have a look on TPF again, that darn PF addiction lol .

Hi Chanel..I guess this post is too late but I was torn betwwen bdp, ba and bt just like you did. Finally i decided to get a bdp in togo leather. BA is a nice color but i feel that ba is too dark and since I already owned a black togo, i'll want a brighter blue. My bdp will be coming this June--sigh still 5 more months to go-- and i really can't wait to see it. I really love blue colors....after bdp...i want bt.
I do love etoupe color which I already had. But I'll go for blue first before etoupe. I was looking for blue but Hermes offered me etoupe instead of blue last year so I bought it. Anyway I love all the colors that H has Good luck to you

Chanel, I SO'ed a Thalassa Birkin in chevre mysore with white stitching years and years ago. Yes, it's special and I've had a lot of people gasped and admired the bag due to its relative rarity. The color's rather subdued with a nice sheen. However..... if I could do it again, I probably would pick a neutral like black, GT or etoupe.
