Hi Here is a pic of my BA in fjord in daylight. Mine came with veining though. Hope this helps you come to a decision. I know its tough because the colors your are choosing from are all great. (Im drawn to neutrals.) BA is so easy to use and its so nice in person. Im loving fjord right now, the hand-feel is like no other.

I also love BdP. Good luck with your choice. Gris T is one of my favorites too.

Thank you for that, it's beautiful! And it looks brighter to me than in Togo and Clemence. If you have time, do you have a picture of this bag without daylight?
And how do you like the Fjord leather? Is it heavy? Does it hold his shape?
TIA :D.

GORGEOUS!!!!!!! Thank you for sharing!!!! Like you, I love pairing BA with the bright pinks (I hang my piggy charm on my BA lindy as well)! It just works so well together! :yahoo:

Hi **Chanel**, just finished reading your thread :) I will try and find some pics of my BdP tonight when I get home, if you are still torn with these 2 blues, just ask yourself if you like greenish blue or purple-ish blue. The BdP is lovely, but if I had a choice now, i would probably choose BA as I prefer purple-ish undertone :) so it;s very much a personal preference like the others said, it's good that you are going to check out the store this weekend, I hope they have some stocks in blue for you to look at... this is exciting

And, between Gris T and Etoupe, I would choose Etoupe, I have a Lindy in Etoupe, one of my favorite H neutrals and goes with black outfits very well.

If you are just going to have one birkin dear, between a blue and Etoupe, I would choose Etoupe.

Hope I am not making the situation more confusing for you ...:)

I do have a pic of my fjord BA indoors. I also have a comparison pic. It might help you see the little differences. My friend owns a Lindy BA in Clemence. Its a tad darker and shinier. Each one has its own charm. I have other bags in togo and clemence and its my first time to own something in fjord. It holds its shape well and I love caressing it. Its become my favorite leather. Not a fan of "too much" veins but somehow, with this color and leather, Im not bothered by it. It actually adds to the character of the bag. Im sure other fjord owners will be able to chime in. Its not heavy at all, which surprised me and its hardy.

Bleu Abysse, even though I have a strong affinity for BdP! I think it's a nice basic blue and it goes with everything well.

Pls let you know what you picked at the end! :balloon:

I have an etoupe bag and a blue de prusse bag. I find that I use the etoupe far more often. The blue bag you have to be a bit more cautious about the undertones of things you wear with it. As others have pointed out, bdp has a bit of a green undertone while blue abysse is more purple. It is much less of a problem with the etoupe. I look forward to seeing what you decide to do!
