i just came across this thread and want to add that even padlocks can be taken off.

please think again, give your DH the joy of seeing you using and enjoying this phw, especially since you have not been able to find ghw for yourself since you received it, his next present might be ghw or you could still try and get a ghw for yourself later...

I agree with tibaka... your husband may be more encouraged to buy you other present if you keep the phw...Well,he may think twice about buying you present in future because he may fear you may not like the present and cause stress for you.
