I did a small fingernail scratch on it, but I managed to remove it just by rubbing with my finger. Yeey! But eventually, I’ll take off the plastic from the hardware and accept that it’s just bag that will scratch by normal usage.



I wore it twice so far only... It’s very stiff, and I have a small baby and no way to attach it on the stroller, so it’s waiting for better days/different occasions. But I love having it in my collection.

It's been over 20 years, but I remember the day I realized my last child fully potty trained, and I no longer had to carry diapers, etc with me full time. I went right out and bought myself a really gorgeous, Prada tote to celebrate my new "diaper-less" status. Enjoy your new bag when you can (I'm thinking those weekend get-a-ways with your husband), and always remember you have something special awaiting you in the closet for the day that you can fully jettison the diaper bag.

Don't be afraid to press it too hard - the leather of your Birkin is Epsom which is very sturdy. Follow the advice that TheMrsoftheHB shared here in the thread a few pages ago. It works well and with time its easier to tuck the flap in. I assume your Birkin in Togo is Retourné and not Sellier (I haven't seen Sellier in Togo yet) and thus the flap tucks in easier since the bag is more roomy.

OMG it’s beautiful. Congratulations!!! I’m not a sellier person or an epsom person either but something about the combination just looks so refined and elegant. Trust me, as I said the same thing and bought a sellier epsom Kelly recently. This is such a rare bag - I would have snatched it up in a heartbeat. Treasure it and wear it well! Congrats again!

Hmmmm I donno.... let me think this through. This is obviously just MY THINKING...
It's super special but I would prefer this bag in B25 Sellier. All the colors are gorgeous but not as wearable & I can only see wearing it occasionally. I don't mind epsom, love GHW and I only buy Sellier K... so the size is the main concern for me. HOWEVER, I don't think I could pass either. :biggrin:

Sorry for rambling. What did u decide?
