Wow! The one I saw VL 35cm was $8800 before tax!!! How come whatever H bags I see are more expensive :s !

Also, has there been a price increase recently? I have my heart set on getting a black 35cm with clemence or togo (or any of the leathers just not exotic) and gold hardware. I am trying to save $8000. Does that sound like the right amount?

Its a new leather that looks alot like epsom but cost alot more

35's are about $7400 right now before taxes...some non exotics a bit more...like Vache Liegee. Then you have tax on top of it. Come February I am told the birkins will increase $300-400 on the base price. $8000 is a good number to save, but you may need a little bit more. Keep putting those dollars aside.
