I've looked high and low and cannot find the original thread that revealed these beauties:

Could someone be so kind and point me in the right direction?

:flowers:

Not to worry though, I just read this:

I am donating one (I ordered two) of the Rose Shocking Mobiles to be auctioned during Breast Cancer Awareness Month next October 2011. It will be filled with as many goodies as I can possibly fit inside.

I cant wait to head more about this! Nothing like free H, and for a great cause!!:yahoo:

Free H for a great cause sounds great of course but honestly, I don't care for anything on that blog you got this info from.
I find it disrespectful what those blog owners are saying about some PF members and that they even post private details about some members.
It's ok that someone doesn't like PF but please keep it respectful.

Sorry for my rant, I just saw that blog for the first time and I'm quite shocked what I saw there .

Since this is for such a great cause I wonder if we shouldn't consider getting together as a group and donating something to go in the bag?
And will TPF be donating something?

Can we be honest, Donna? The inserts are indeed lovely, as is your charitable impulse. Having worked with many breast cancer groups across Canada, large and small, and having donated time, money and work in kind, I am sure one of these would appreciate your offer. Willow, in Toronto (but a national group) has their annual Eat to the Beat event each fall with a silent auction component and you might wish to approach them.

But I can also tell you that the majority of these groups (with the exception of the very very largest like the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation) struggle daily to do their very good work because fundraising is a challenge for them. My guess is that they would be the most appreciative of an unrestricted cheque to use in their daily work, even for a relatively small amount such as this item might fetch at auction. And I say relatively small not to cast aspersions on what you are trying to accomplish, but in light of major gifts in the $100,000 range that often get the most attention but are, of course, extremely scarce. As I said, all amounts are usually most welcome to small charities.

But good luck to you with this project. I hope the insert raises much deserved funds for a worthy cause. If I can be of assistance in terms of putting you in touch with some good people to get your insert donated, let me know. I'd be happy to help.
