Since you mentioned you are a watch collector, I would say that H is NOT like many watch companies where a strong referral from a VVIP would be sufficient to get you a coveted bag like B25 (after some wait) with no spend history. It might put in you in a good light with the SA/SM and perhaps on a faster track to B25, but realistically you will probably still need to invest in some pre-spend before getting the bag, unless your VVIP does the purchasing for you.

These days, a strong referral cannot obtain a coveted watch from a premier watch company bc supply is too limited lol
What we call prespend for bags is relatively small compared to what is thought of as a watch client in good standing.
(I’m thinking specifically of ALange bc DH collects them, but this is also true of PP, AP, VC, etc.

When I meant ride on a VVIPs coattails, I meant the VVIP, with H approval, would essentially allow OP to utilize her QB allocation (essentially piggy back onto her prespend). A simple introduction won’t suffice IMO
