Beware of Tokidoki Fakes on ebay!

links, including eBay, Amazon, and others

Sadly she sold 4 that ended last night. Bids of $88, $43, $84 and $89. She's defintely making some money since she probabably got these super cheap.

Here are her complete listings: http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d...karyna07&include=0&rows=50&sort=3&completed=1
Look at the one listed as a paradiso campeggio for $65. Is THAT fake? The fabric says "Tokidoki for LeSportsac" and I can't see a close up of the hardware to tell. The print is the original, but it doesn't look quite right. Toki experts, is this real or FAKE?

From what little I can see of the hardware (2 rivets on the bottom and the edges of the handles) it looks silver to me. It should be either Blue or Green for the Original print.

Her obviously fake original print nuvola had the "tokidoki for Lesportsac" fabric too, which made it hard to tell it was fake... except the nuvola was never made in original print!

**IF** this is real it's a great price I'm not sure I'd take a chance and I'd for sure ask for closeups of the hardware before bidding.

Well, we know its not the qee that is supposed to come with the original print bags right? I wasn't interested in bidding on it...I think I'm just shocked how hard they're trying to make the fakes look real! I always thought fakes were more obvious...

Here's the email I got from eBay... you'd think they would be a little more helpful when there's been numerous complaints about this lady. In my email I pointed out the flower spring logo on the bag and said that it was brought to my attn after I had bid.

Dear Julie,

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to item number 330102336245 that
you've won but no longer want to purchase because yoiu found that item
was a fake.

Julie, I understand your concern that you no longer want to purchase the
item. In this situation, I'd like to remind you that a bid in an eBay
auction is a binding contract. When you place a bid, you enter into a
contract with the seller to purchase the item if you win the auction.
Similarly, if you use the Buy It Now button to purchase the item
instantly, you have made a contract to pay for the item. With this in
mind, we advise all members to use their best judgment when bidding or
using the Buy It Now feature.

What can you do next?

Julie, often you can resolve this type of situation through open and
honest communication with the seller. If you have not done so already,
we recommend calling the seller to explain your concern. You can explain
to the seller that you changed your mind and no longer want the item.
Sometimes the seller will be understanding and might offer to give you a
break, but this is entirely up to the seller.

To request your seller's contact information, follow these steps:

1. Click the "Advanced Search" link, located under the "Search" button
in the top right corner of most eBay pages.
2. Under the "Members" section on the left side of the page, click the
"Find Contact Information" link.
3. Type the User ID of the member and the Item number of the
transaction.
4. Click the "Search" button.

What happens if you cannot resolve the situation with the seller?

Please keep in mind that if you decide not to purchase the item, the
seller may leave negative Feedback on your Member Profile page. In
addition, you may receive an Unpaid Item strike on your account if the
seller files an Unpaid Item dispute. We encourage you to consider the
possible consequences as you work to resolve this matter.

***Important***
In the future, be sure to contact the seller and resolve any questions
or concerns before you enter a contract by placing a bid or purchasing
the item instantly. To ask the seller a question, click the "Ask seller
a question" link on the Item page.

I have forwarded your report about the seller's fake item to a
specialist in another department to review this matter further. You
should receive a response related to this issue shortly.

It is my pleasure to assist you. Thank you for choosing eBay.

Sincerely,
Jeanette

Girl, thats awful! Freakin ebay! Dont pay for the bag because its fake and fakes ones cost around 3 to 10 dollars in asia! Its dirt cheap over there and for a seller to charge that much for it is awful on top of lying and saying that its real!

I would rather have a strike, those dont do much unless you have like 3 of them. As for feedback, Im sure the seller is more worried of the feedback you will leave her rather than her giving u a negative, because her reputation is on the line.

I hope that's the case. She's a had a few negatives but they're in French, so I don't know what they're about!
I am not going to pay for it. I will let you guys know what she says and if I hear back from the other eBay dept they forwarded my message to.

Okay, in the meantime we've been complaining about her to ebay so hopefully if enough people complain, ebay will ban her and you dont have to worry about negative feedbacks or anything from her again! So I say we team up and keep on complaining to help out sparkyjt and all the other victims of that awful seller!

wow, I can't believe ebay won't even do anything about it. And about people with negative feeback. I do read feedback but if it seems legit I won't listen to it. For instance yours might say to her that she sent you a fake. When I look at it and see the item is a fake I'll just ignore her negative feedback to you and look at the rest. Besides, 1 isn't that bad. You have plenty. I only have 5.

All the french sellers complain this (in another words some):

"Item never recieved and total silence from the seller"
