I went there with my family today. I was lucky enough to get a scarf and everyone else got the enamel bracelets. I thought about getting ties for my brother, may go back tomorrow before we head back out of town. The discount was great but the selection wasn't particularly exciting to us (besides the bracelets of course). I hoped to get more twillies(the three that were offered got sold early on), but I managed to get a 90cm scarf instead ImageUploadedByPurseForum1377240889.465320.jpg hope everyone had a swell shopping experience. x

I'm sure I saw some of you today. I got there around 4:30 and didn't know what to expect. I waited in line with the lovely amkur for about a half hour. It was really crowded, but no shoving or anything. After waiting in line, shopping around, and paying, I left at just after 6. There were still a lot of people in the store. I agree with all others who posted that this was the best Hermes sale yet. Worth fighting the traffic, definitely (that's saying a lot, considering all the construction and delays on the 405!).

I didn't see any Bolides, but I saw some travel bags, Sac en Vies, Massais, and Evelynes. There were a couple of PM size Paris-Bombays and a big white one in Epsom. They had chocolate Medors with PHW, but they were scratched up and/or some had dents. They had some pocket squares (a few with the Brazilian Feathers II design and the year of the dragon) and GM size scarves (I don't know what designs since I didn't look thru them). They had plenty of hats, canvas cosmetic bags, perfume, agendas, and RTW. A good amount of shoes, but I wouldn't say plenty. You get to keep the box if you buy shoes, but not if you buy bags. If a dust bag happens to be with the bag, you get to keep it.

I got a couple of things, which looked like the only or last of what they were. Will post my haul tomorrow (or rather, later today).

A lot of people asked if they'll restock, but every SA I heard answer the question said no. I'm busy tomorrow, but I'll check it out on Saturday after work. I'll probably get there near closing time, so if by some chance, they do further discounts, it'll be at that time, since Saturday is the last day of the sale. If they do, I might pick up some RTW or SLGs.

Thank you for the kind words Tinklemd. Since my FIRST post of my hunting adventure in Paris, I actually have hunted for bags in many countries around the world. I feel like I could write a book about it. My last trip was in Asia. I checked out Hermes in Shanghai/Beijing/Shenzhen/Wuhan/Guangzhou and also South Korean and Hong Kong I don't have enough posts to write a new thread...but when I do, I will tell you all about it. I came home with a boatload of great Hermes products. The only thing that was surprising to me and my wife was that there is a surcharge for purchasing them in Asia. I think the markup is around 20%. I didn't declare VAT though in China/HK/Seoul..so maybe I could have gotten some of that back.

Oh yeah, the H website is wrong as well. The Hermes in Wuhan is NOT what is listed there...you would think that corporate would update their website instead of having us H hunters get lost for an extra hour or so...
Oh, please post so that we can hear about your excursions and H visits!
Your travels sound so exciting!

I was @ the Private Sale Event yesterday. It was FUN. Best Sale Ever.. Here are the Goods...

Wow, what gorgeous finds! Love the colors!

Wow....great items...esp the Steve travel. If you don't mind....May I know how much is it after the discount?
Thank you.
Thank you Doves75. I've been wanting a leather travel from Hermes so was very happy to find this. It was still expensive at $4725.00 but for a Hermes travel bag, I thought it was a great deal. It retails at $9450. Not as great of a deal compared to the smaller bags. It is also in excellent condition. I was amazed it was on sale. There was a beautiful one in parchmin that I really wanted but I knew better. There were others in Ebene and another brown shade. I'm actually using it today for a quick weekend away! My DH and I travel a lot so it will definitely be used :).

Sorry about the quality of the pic, it was taken at night. And yes, she's wearing pajamas.

I'll let you know if I hear about the next one. :-)

Thanks so much. You darling doggie even change into PJs before bedtime. I'm happy that you found a nice Hermes home for her.

Yes, please let me know the next one. I'll definitely make a trip from Seattle to join the other TPFers in line.
