I went this afternoon after lunch and the line was sooooooo long. It took me almost 2 hours to get through that line. Luckily I had a business lunch in West Hollywood, so no more work for today. After getting through the line, finally I made my way inside the store. My SA was helping another customer so I looked around. Didn't find a SINGLE item that I wanted. I'm not much into dishes and scarfs. They had ALOT of stuff for Men, but I wasn't there for me...my wife sent me on a mission! After Chi was done with her customer she asked me what I was looking for. I told her my list of items I was looking for: Clutch bags, Leathers, anything "special". She told me to wait. She said that they had no leather on the floor, but she had a really special bag in the back. She came back with a bright orange box and she brought me out a Blue Jean colored Evelyne. I thought the color was ugly, but I called my wife to make sure she didn't want it. She said no go on the Evelyne. I asked her if she had anything else. She said no, most of the leather items were sold to the VVIP customers yesterday. I guess the early bird gets the worm. I asked her if they would get new stock tomorrow, since my wife said the sale lasts until Saturday...she told me no. They will not be receiving any new shipments. This was a pretty weak store compared to what I'm used to. Orange County Southcoast Plaza even has more than this place. Maybe it hurts to be a guy looking for that special purse..who knows. That was my experience.

Do you guys think it'll be worth it to go tomorrow? Will take my baby!!

I thought it was worth it. There were plenty of goodies when I arrived. Too much to remember everything. There were lots of equestrian goods ( saddles, clothing, etc), few lacquered boxes but not in the best shape; baby silver, shoes, towels, robes; plenty of bags: plumes, Masai, Steve travel bags, Victoria and plume travel bags, Victoria cosmetic cases, clutches but not in great condition, and two drawstring tiger print bags. Plenty of RTW, shoes, and ties; lots of small leather goods ( mostly agenda/ notebook holders), belt selection was so so (there was a beautiful alligator belt in ebene); plenty of enamels, some leather bracelets, necklaces, and lacquered hair pieces. Lots of perfume but I did not look to see what they had. SAs were super helpful and said to come back tomorrow as there will be more. For some reason I did not see the turquoise bolide! There was just so much it was almost a blur! Do look carefully at the goods as the other tpfers have suggested. You are limited to one bag a day! Happy shopping for those who will be able to make it there :).

My finds...

I had been trying to find a dog carrier for years so I was worried that my little girl wouldn't like her new bag, but she loved it! After she lay down, she didn't want to leave the bag.

You are a good man to go hunt for your wife! :)

You are a good man to go hunt for your wife! :)

Thank you for the kind words Tinklemd. Since my FIRST post of my hunting adventure in Paris, I actually have hunted for bags in many countries around the world. I feel like I could write a book about it. My last trip was in Asia. I checked out Hermes in Shanghai/Beijing/Shenzhen/Wuhan/Guangzhou and also South Korean and Hong Kong I don't have enough posts to write a new thread...but when I do, I will tell you all about it. I came home with a boatload of great Hermes products. The only thing that was surprising to me and my wife was that there is a surcharge for purchasing them in Asia. I think the markup is around 20%. I didn't declare VAT though in China/HK/Seoul..so maybe I could have gotten some of that back.

Oh yeah, the H website is wrong as well. The Hermes in Wuhan is NOT what is listed there...you would think that corporate would update their website instead of having us H hunters get lost for an extra hour or so...

Here's my loot from today..prob bought too much. Hehe..

Baby pif booties in potiron

Hi everyone, this is my first post here :) I'm a new Hermes lover, actually I've always love Hermes but just thought that it's too difficult to purchase their items & it just doesn't go with my impatient personality lol

Anyway, I've been shopping at the Las Vegas Bellagio Store. Most of the sales there are very nice & not stuck up like other stores. I ask my sale if the rumor is true that Hermes no longer make Medor Clutch in size 29 & to my horror she said yes! But she told me that there might be some Medor Clutch at the Beverly Hills sale. Since I'm not a vip I went today hoping I will find one & I did!! To be honest I was hoping to find one with GHW but I figure it's 50% off so I shouldn't be too picky.

So here it is, my very first Hermes bag along with my latest purchase from Vegas the Silver CDC bracelet.

Haha, it's funny that you said that. I asked a few people in the sale whether they think the price of the beach towel was justified. One lady said it was a piece of art and definitely worth it, another lady said if I changed my mind and did not take it, she would. So I took my chance ...

Congratulations, Cheval Indien is beautiful!
I understand these towels are extremely durable, which helps me justify the price, lol!:p

BTW if you want your own Medor Clutch & you live around the LA area make sure you go check out the sale. One of the sales told me they still have plenty of Medor left but they're all in Chocolate Brown. Good Luck everyone~

So pretty!! Is that a chocolate or a black? Love it.
