Just finished a tube of this but didn't get the results I wanted as I've got very very dry hands. Looking for another cream that's not greasy and can help my hands look younger.

I swear by Surgeon's Skin Secret. It doesn't wash off every time you wash your hands. You can buy it through QVC.

I'm an x-ray tech and I wash my hands constantly. My hands used to be so dried & cracked that they'd bleed. I've been using this stuff for 11 years and I won't be without it.

A tip if you try it. Wash you hands in warm water first and blot your hands dry. The little bit of moisture left on your hands will be 'trapped' and that will lock moisture into your skin.

Thanks for the tip. What does SSS smell like?

It comes in unscented and a variety of scents. I'm hooked on honey & almond right now. I know there is also lavender scent.

You can buy it in a lotion or a 'wax' in a jar (kind of hard to describe). I use the wax in a jar ... the warmth of your body softens it up as you massage it into your hands. Your hands feel great after their little 'treatment'!

I now have my whole office hooked on the stuff!

This sounds like what I am looking for. We have to wash our hands alot to, being in the food industry and all.

I am looking at the website right now, and I see thatthey also offer it in a "Stick" like a big chapstick tube. Which one were you referring to? The one with 25% beeswax?

This is what I use most often:

QVC item # A150390

I've tried the stick and I found that awkward, especially after you use it and your hands have the wax on it.

The best way to use it is to wash your hands, let warm water run over them and then BLOT your hands dry. You want some moisture still on your hands. Massage the Surgeon's Skin Secret in well ... then gently blot the rest off with a paper towel. It won't wash off for hours and it keeps your hands soft without any cracks!

Great! Thanks!

I've been using Mary Kay's hand lotion and I like, but am still looking forward to trying SSS.

L'occitane is great (oily in the beginning but completely absorbs!), Jurlique, or La Mer
I also like to use the ones from Japanese supermarkets, cheap and they work well if you use them very often and go though hand creams really fast =D

I've been trying to switch out Neutrogena Norwegian Formula hand cream for something more natural and without parabens.

This winter my hands were super dry and the area around my thumb was cracking and peeling. I tried lots of hand creams at Whole Foods and my criteria was that 1) it didn't have a strong scent and 2) it wasn't greasy. I liked Earthscience's Purfection Hand Cream, but it was still a little too greasy for me.

A friend recommended Awakening Mineral Skincare's Mineral Moisture Hands Therapy (she's a teacher, loves to garden and washes her hands constantly) and gave me a tube.

As soon as I rubbed it into my hands, it soaked in quickly and my hands felt soft and moisturized afterwards. I put some extra cream on my thumb and the redness went away. I liked that it wasn't tested on animals and paraben free. It contains essences and extract of ginger, cinnamon and myrrh. The scent was slighly cinnamon-y but that didn't bother me.

The only complaint I have is that the packaging, although basic, has this twist off cap which is really inconvenient. I emailed the company to ask if they'll switch to flip tops and they responded the same day and said they'd look into it.

I even called customer service to ask a question and they were more than patient with my questions and feedback. It's obvious that Customer Service is important to them and it shows.

I haven't seen this in stores in my area so I ordered some online: http://www.awakeningskincare.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductC It's not as cheap as drugstore hand creams but for my super dry hands I don't mind. You only use a pearl sized drop and it lasts a while.

HTH someone who wants a natural, non greasy hand cream.
