Ladies. I’m in Seoul having my fillers removed and tomorrow I will be going under the knife! lower Bleph, fat repositioning, endoscopic eyebrow lift AND face lift 😅 not going to lie absolutely terrified.

After months and months of research I am doing it at Braun reasons being;
- I like the work they have done so far
- They did not pressure me to commit before meeting me in person like some clinics.
- I felt like the doctor actually listened to my concerns and explained in depth why he would do things a certain way (eg under eye fat repositioning instead of grafting).

If any you have tips or an idea of where to buy ice packs in Seoul (crazy I have been to so many shops) please let me know!
any pharmacy should have them!

Hi Asukagirl. How much did they quote you? thank you

lower blepharoplasty 2.7million krw
endoscopic brow lift 5million krw
facelift 8million krw
facial liposuction 2.1million krw
+ 10% VAT charge (refundable by tax refund)

This is not include medication though. And I found this out day of surgery because I assume they won’t know your medication regime until then.

They did the bloodwork, and also the filler removal for free.

Hi EmmaDr. How was your research? I'm the same as you searching in Korea and compairing from the states for facelift  Any recommended?
Hi! It’s been super confusing so far. I’m probably leaning towards ASPS for facelift. However I need upper and lower bleph as well as fat transfer. On member recommend eyes first, then fat transfer before facelift because fat transfer do not work well while skin is open. And fat transfer may stretch skin so best to do facelift last. It doesn’t make financial sense to fly to SK from the US 3 separate times so I may see if I can find someone to do my eyes in the US then maybe go to SK for fat transfer and then facelift. Too bad it’s such a long flight to SK.

Hi @EmmaDr . I’m in the same boat as you but just 1 step ahead. Did my eyes here in the US (I can share some tips DM me). Now researching FL in Seoul. Where are you based and your timeline?
a while back, I did a consult an FL at ASPS but not so sure if I want to have it done there.

I had my upper done in US 2017. Now looking for FL and lower fat reposition. Yeah was checking those prices and seems almost the same. Only thing makes me want to do in SK because the incision pretty neat and invisible. From all the research so far will be Wink for eye but still searching for FL.

6m is suspiciously low for a full FL. i did my mini at arc, a clinic that doesn't specialize in FL. Would you join the kkt groups or add me on KKT @ twobrokenchains? i'll drop you an entire list of clinics you can look at there
is it possible to add me to any of the FL groups on kkt? my id is jessapp- thank you! i’m so confused with all the mixed things about v.lif even though i like that they only specialize in FL

It's true long flight :( Why I'm searching in SK because the incision in USA looks so bad after month healing and also more expensive. In USA they charged bleph very expensive too and also I saw a lot post seeing the upper eyelid surgery seems like more hollow then those in Asian. I had mine done (upper 2017) in States under a Korean Dr. Comparing prices and also the incision for facelift is more important. :)

I consulted with ASPS but they were very vague and told me I needed to have an in-person consult. If I were somewhere closer to SK, I wouldn't mind flying out for a few days and consulting with a few PS out there but that is just not possible. It feels like they serve mostly locals which is not a bad thing but not at all economical for those who are flying in from the other side of the globe.

I hadn’t heard of Mina until now and checked them out. The Dr only performs 2 surgeries per day which is great. He’s also a member of American Society of Plastic Surgeons which is a great accolade and he’s spent time in the US so he’s fluent in English. I wasn’t able to find him on American Society of Plastic Surgeon’s site so not sure if he’s still an active member. I would want to see his B&A facelift photos to get a better idea if he’s conservative or more aggressive. JK is very expensive. I’m in the US and I may as well stay in the US for what they quoted me. I beginning to think they’re just a marketing machine. The head Dr may be good but being such a large hospital, no telling who you’ll get to perform your surgery. Nana also seemed promising to me.
American surgeon have less natural aesthetics. They like big cheeks and heart shape but not every one looks good with that style. Cookie cutter
