Best purchases
Bag - sac plume mini chaine, ostrich boreale, bubblegum pink, phw. I was not a fan of mini bags prior to this but this mini fits a surprising amount.
Non-bag -
1) cashmere navy hope beanie
2) Etriviere 32 fauve Barenia belt with gh buckle
3) isola hat, fine raffia weave, naturel/gold (my most used summer hat)
4) calvi duo “les mustangs” in blanc swift
5) noir cashmere embroidered and leather appliqué jacket
6) hooded shearling coat in Gris Etoupe
7) long sleeved silk shirt with pin tucked front in marron/ebene
8) noir cotton/silk pullover

Worst purchases
Bag - none. I like and use all the bags I purchased this year
Non-bag -
1) turtleneck pullover in blanc cashmere which I have yet to use since the turtleneck is so thick I cannot zip or button any jackets or coats at the neckline if wearing this turtleneck.
2) 2 pairs of twillies (super silk quest and Mille et un lapin) because even though I love the design on both, I have way more than I could ever use at this point and any twillies I buy now just sit in a closet. So one New Year’s resolution is to stop buying any more twillies no matter how cute I think they are.

Hello and happy new year everyone!

Best bag: My SO Mini Kelly vert menthe / gris perle interior PHW, although the one I use the most is my non-quota bag Petite Course in vert yucca! Never thought I would use this bag THAT much, really practical and a wonderful pop of color.
Best non-bag: Silk scarf 90 Precious Paradise

Worst bag: Della cavalleria bleu zanzibar PHW - I really love it, but I find it a tad too heavy. Need to give it another try.
Worst non-bag: 2 pairs of Chypre that I barely wore in the entire summer 😭.

Oooh how fun. I was hoping I wouldn't have any in the "Worst Purchase" category (hence...money wasted) ...and thankfully I had to dig deep to find some.

Best
Bag: My noire DC Elan GHW Epsom. Almost regretted it because I do not really like epsom but did need a bag to fit this niche...turns out it is one of my most-used grab and go small shoulder bags and has definitely earned its keep!
Non-Bag: Lots of things....but ultimately Chypres, noir, tan, and now lizard beige. Hated them when I first saw them, then bought a pair and fell in love after wearing them a bit.

Worst purchase:
Bag - Picotin 22 in Gris Neve...love it but haven't had an opportunity to use it yet!
Non-bag: the bronzer...it somehow always ended up looking patchy on me.

Best purchases:
- Bags: I’ve been so thankful that I got a great jumpstart to my collection when I started off with pre-loved/vintage (luckily at great price points), h.com and a bag from the boutique. I can’t pick which were the best since they’re special in their own right. Preloved included K28 retourné box leather rouge vif, K32 retourné Fauve barenia and halzan 31 Fauve barenia. I knew I wanted heritage leathers and they have not disappointed! Managed to snag a herbag 31 in berline canvas…which was actually my very first H bag. And my first Birkin and first bag from my SA, B30 canvas/swift. I don’t plan on ever sell any of these.
- Non bag: so difficult since I’ve tried to be thoughtful with my purchases. Absolute best would be my chaine d’ancre silver earrings since I get to wear it every day. “H en bias” zipped reversible wool coat would be next best, so comfortable and I feel great wearing it!

Worst:
- Bag: none
- Non-bag: worst is probably too harsh for this but I bought the "Effet Kaleidoscope" shirt knotted waist twillaine dress in 38. It was a little oversized when I bought it but I’ve lost some weight so it looks even more oversized. Looks okay as a dress with a belt but I definitely notice the extra bunched up fabric. I guess I’ll just wear it as a twillane cardigan/duster.

Best bag purchase - So fortunate to be able to add a rather special MK and a C this year, but the bag which is perfect for me is the surprise K25 Chevre SO which I carry non-stop.
Best non-bag purchase - Smooth Barenia Fauve Etriviere belt to replace my very old one

Not so good bag purchase - None, I declined some kind offers which were not quite right for me.
Really not great non-bag purchase - H eyeliner pencils and mascara. I am disappointed with Hermes' lack of quality, at these price points.

simple fine jewelry earrings. I wear them often and love them.

Worst:
Loafers that I love but KILL my feet. I thought I could stretch them but that has failed. The style with the extra strap over the top is almost impossible to stretch and just hurts 😢

Best-Evelyne TPM, super handy bag. Love it. Got two in 2024.
Not so good purchase - Omg. Ditto to the icone loafer! I get the worst
Heel blisters! Never have I ever had a pair of loafers or shoes for that matter, do this to me. So sad.

Best purchase:

Bag (boutique) - so hard to choose! I love and have got lots of use from all the bags I added to my collection this year. I’ll pick the K25 sellier peau de porc GHW because I adore the leather and I was so thrilled to receive that offer.
Bag (vintage) - Black box Bolide 31 GHW, found in Tokyo.
Non-bag - my new black shirt dress. I’ve only had it a few weeks and it has slotted perfectly into my wardrobe - SO versatile

Worst purchase:
Bag - none. I’ve learned my lesson! My Jypsière, bought several years ago, still holds the crown as my most-regretted, least-used, least well-suited to my needs, bag purchase.
Non-bag - the eye shadow. Disappointing.

Bag- although I got a Birkin 25 this last year. I think I prefer the Kelly 28 It’s just easier to carry

Non Bag: I love the saint louis lamp it is absolutely beautiful and I use it every night.

Worst Purchase:
Herbag 32. This bag is stiff and hard to close. I haven’t really carried it so maybe I need to break it in. 🤔

Yes I think it’s easier to keep it open but the opening is so much bigger than a Kelly even a Kelly32. 😢 also the closer is such a pain.
