Travel Benelux countries in October?

^^ Most cities are very close to each other. For example: Bruges is about 1.15h away from Brussels, Amsterdam about 2h from Antwerp. You can do all this by car or by train. I would recommend staying about 2 days in each city, just so you can see everything!

I'm from Antwerp, so I shop mostly there. Here are my favourite stores and restaurants in Antwerp:

Designer

-SN3 http://www.sn3.com/ (High end clothes and accessories; my favourite shop!)
-Verso http://www.verso.be/canvas.html (Mostly high end clothes and some accessories + an awesome Martini bar!)
-Coccodrillo http://www.coccodrillo.be/home.htm (Shoes!)
-Delvaux http://www.delvaux.be/en (Belgian high end leather goods company)

Vintage

-Belchique http://www.belchique.com/en/index.html (Mostly high end vintage and second hand stuff)
-Jutka & Riska Vintage (Nationalestraat 87, 2000 Antwerpen) (Very cute vintage shop)

Special

-Huis Boon http://www.glovesboon.be/ (Gloves)
-Hoedensalon CRZ (Oude Koornmarkt 62, 2000 Antwerpen) http://www.hoedensalon.be/h.salon engl..htm (Hats)

Antiques

If you like antiques, the Kloosterstraat http://www.kloosterstraat.com/start.html is the way to go!

Food &Drink

-Little Buddha (Luikstraat 4, 2000 Antwerpen) (Asian fushion lounge-restaurant; my favourite!)
-Salad & Co (Wiegstraat 6, 2000 Antwerpen) (Delicious juices, salads and sandwiches; great for lunch!)
-Sipps http://www.sips-cocktails.com/english/index.html (Great cocktails!)
-De Groote Witte Arend (Reyndersstraat 18, 2000 Antwerpen) (Love their beers; they have more than 80 kinds of Belgian beer! Try Kwak; but watch it: it's very strong!!! ;))

When you go to Brussels, look out for their (vintage) jewelry shops; I've seen some great pieces over there!

Hope this helps! And have fun on your trip!

I agree with Elsie.
in Brussels I would advise the shops on the Rue Dansart, which has the most Belgian designers. It also has Christophe Coppens' shop. My friend own a shop there called Icon: very nice clothes!

Great list, just a few things to add:

Shops:
Princess and Princess Blue (Meir 51 and Schrijnwerkersstraat 7), designer clothing.

Restaurants:
Cafe Verso (see: Verso). Great place to have lunch! Very good quality, fair pricing and they have Moet&Chandon Nectar, also by the glass. Very tasty.

Stereo Sushi (Luikstraat 6) Good quality of asian food, good sushi, place becomes a nightclub after midnight.

Velvet Lounge (Luikstraat 6, same spot as Stereo Sushi). Great fusion restaurant, ambiance is perfect.
