It really seems like he duped her big-time. It seems like their PR teams are in overdrive trying to control the narrative of why they split, where it went wrong, etc. The weird part is that for months they were silent letting the media gossip about the state of their marriage and now everyone's chattering. We are definitely in the Spin Zone now.

I’m starting to think the entire thing was a publicity stunt. All of sudden Garner is constantly around Ben. She was even photographed with his mother recently conveniently dropping the kids off at the first day of school. Things are starting to seem calculating and contrived. Plus Affleck spending time with Kick 🤣 and Garner photographed with longtime beau. Those two are never photographed together. All of this is bizarre to me.

Agree. TOO MUCH publicity from EVERYONE.

But I do believe JLo was duped, I think Ben wanted more money for his production company and thought of JLo as his ATM.

I also think Garner will never really let Ben go. We can call it co-parenting but in reality she will always be around Ben.

As for Kick. Could this be her entrance to entertainment? Could she really be dating Ben? Possible. Lots of older men realize they want old money fame, not the celebrity fame. Like Chris Pratt. JLO of course has more money than Kick, but Kick is royalty.

Yes I was surprised to hear that Jlo is worth 450 million to Ben’s paltry 150.
Kick has been in entertainment for a while, she is 36 royalty or not, :Pand like you said the entire situation smells of over the top PR.

DiCaprio is the real hot ticket in entertainment. He gets first reads on all the good scripts, if he passes on something, then that script gets read by Bradley Cooper. Yes, Cooper said so in an interview. He views DiCaprio as the king.

Yeah, Ben. Where is Ben even on this totem pole?

Batman? :lol:

He won an Oscar for Argo, best picture. Gone Girl was good. Wasn't he in State of Play? I think I liked Changing Lanes.

Well he did some good movies IMHO. As mentioned with some extras:
Argo - won academy award for direction
The Town - great heist movie
Gone Girl - big hit
Live by Night - not a big movie but one I really enjoyed mobsters fighting the KKK
The Accountant - not my favorite but getting a sequel.
Justice League
Air - pretty good about the Nike - Michael Jordan story.
He has had a few good ones.

Argo won an Oscar for best picture and Best Adapted Screenplay but not for Best Director. Affleck won an award from the director’s Guild for Outstanding Director.
And he also had a few absolute lemons like Gigli and Daredevil.
