I've been reading all kind of methods to clean handles in used Balenciaga, and I decided to wash them with dish washer soap, the degreaser one...so I got this result,I think it is not that bad, what do you think? I think I just need to moisture the leather, but it's cleaner😛

I've been trying to revive my Raisin Twiggy which was damaged as a result of slathering on too much Leather Honey. I tried Kiwi shoe polish and Timberland Waximum. The Timberland was superior to the Kiwi, but still left the leather feeling very rough and seemed to emphasise the wrinkles in a bad way. So I tried Wax Oil by Ecco, with amazing results. You only have to use a tiny amount at a time (about the size of a fingernail clipping) and rub it into the leather in circular motions. Wait for a few minutes and wipe off the excess with a dry clean cloth. It leaves the leather feeling amazingly soft.

I've attached the before and after shot.

Leather honey pick me up for a 2006 RH ink Day. She arrived severely dried out, and absorbed the first coat of LH in nanoseconds. Pictures were taken after the second coat... I'm going to wait 24 hours and see if she may need a third. This is one THIRSTY bag, but so soft and silky. The comparison pics with the other bag are with an anthracite city, and with the mirror which hasn't been treated.

Thank you chowlover! It's a work in progress... so far she's soaked up four coats of leather honey. Even though they all sink in immediately, I'm not sure it's a good idea to do anymore. I think I'll leave it at that and just appreciate her as the grande dame that she is!

I have an orange Sunday tote that was peach when I got her. 3 coats and she really came around. Almost a year at this point, and still looking good.ImageUploadedByPurseForum1433124874.874896.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1433124901.538625.jpg

Hi, I just want to share my first attempt to restore my BBag. Initially, I was thinking of selling my 2009 Brogues City because it became so dry and the corners are worn out. So, I decided to try to revive it using LMB's Beauty and Shine Collection. I must say I'm quite impressed with the result.

However, I wish I could restore the corners a little bit better. Does anyone have any tips?
Here are some pictures.

Got this poor bag from Videdressing with the intention to give it a new live.
It was faded, had rubbed corners and was totaly out of shape!
I cleaned it inside and outside -degreased it and refreshed the colour with
'Color lock leather Fresh Colour'-a dark blue one that matched the blue of the bag(Bleu Mineral) most.
This product is NOT a sort of paint-it just refreshes the original colour and covers LIGHT defects on the surface.
Today I protected the bag with 'Leather protector with UV protection'.
Still a little wet from the protector and more shining on the pic than in reality-
I love the way it looks now!
It is not new, but so much better than before!

What do you use? Very impressive

Not sure who you're asking? If it's me, I sent the bag to "Lovin my Bags" in NY. I'll repost the photos. The first two are before "Lovin my Bags". The others are pics of the restoration.

Touching up Miss Mogano's corners with Woly coloured shoe cream... I applied a little with a Q-tip, let it dry and buffed gently (the corners were in good shape but now :smile1:). I'm going to apply a coat of Zeli when it comes (it's on order) to seal it. (My guess is if I don't seal it it may wear off with use). First two pics are before and after on the one side, the third and fourth are before and after on the other.

I got a Beautiful 2005 denim city and i was pretty happy. But leather was very peeled off. So i follow the kind tips of Aalinne_72 to restore it. Here are "before" pics:

I cleaned it then i did the first round with a brown leather cream, let it dry and then applied a second hand of cream. Once well dried, i applied a coat of Zelikovitz satin top coat, let it dry about 3 hours and then applied a second coat. After few hours my city is like new!!! I am really happy and proud of my first selfmade restoration!!!

I would like to share my experience of using the zeli top coat in sateen and leather gel by colonil on my gris fossil backpack.

So the leather gel made a very temporary effect on my bag, I would say no effect. It doesn't cover scratches and moisturizing is very temporary. I tried it on dry parts of the bag - corners and leather string. Once applied is ok, but dries fast and the leather looks "veiny" again. But I realized that this product worked better for my leather jacket which is mat with some sheen and for my smooth untextured leather boots.

The Z top coat worked well for me. I can say that it didn't change the color at all, except tiny darkened spot where the corner was scuffed, but I don't mind as the bag is dark gray. Also it made a couple of deep scratches disappear!!

Here is the result, the leather string is very veiny still, but the piping on the top of the backpack has no color change no veins.
Sorry hard to capture because of gris fossil is terribly shiny.. without flash.. you know

Thanks for letting me share, hope this info will be helpful!

Here used to be a scratch. See it? Nope!

Piping is ok, but the string is veiny.
