Laura Mercier Setting Powder - I prefer the kvd one much more and I actually get more product.

The whole colour correcting hype - I bought a palette from Tarte and one or two Naked skin correctors but rarely used them. I don't need extra steps in my makeup routine that barely make a difference.

Expensive make-up!

I don't wear much to begin with, so besides my la posay roche BB cream (my holy grail BB!)
I no longer spend big bucks on make-up!
Instead I'm sticking to NYX - their lipsticks are amazing! I find myself using them more than my Diors & YSLs! Really great quality for bargain prices! Very impressed

Laura Mercier, purchased the concealer pallet, primer and the tinted "glowing" cream and they were all awful. Haven't used any of them more than once and they all ended up in the bin. Never ever buying anything from it again.[emoji107]

Lush, all the colouring and the perfumes [emoji40]

No body shop, Lancôme, Chanel, YSL.

Moved to Benefits "they're real" Mascara and loving it.

Love MAC's foundations, concealer, lipsticks, eyeshadow, blushes and highlighter. Didn't know about the animal cruelty though. Their blushes and eye shadows last very very long time so haven't bought any in at least two years.

Loving the Urban decay naked pallet (1)

Using Cetaphil wash and not sure how I feel about it yet. Any experiences with Paula's Choice products?
I have used only PC for my skincare for the past 2.5 years and have mainly great things to say. The best part, IMO, is that you buy samples for most products and shipping is free on all samples. Great way to try before purchasing the full size. They also run promos all the time, although her pricing is going up compared to what is used to be, but most brands are like that. She does well with the AHAs and BHAs, so that's a good place to start. I do not like her cleansers but I like all other categories. Recently, I have started exploring Drunk Elephant but they are much pricier than PC.

I also really like Drunk Elephant, currently Sephora has two travel sized duos (one for day, one for night) but they've been out of stock since they showed up on the site.

Thanks! I ordered those prior to the VIB Rouge sale portion started because I figured the would sell out and they did. So far, I'm really liking them a lot, which sucks for my wallet. Only thing I've read negative reviews on is the sunscreen. Have you tried that?

Struggles of being in Canada, we always get everything a couple weeks later than the US. I haven't tried the sunscreen but I've tried a couple of the moisturizers, the juju and pekee bars, and the lip balm, all of which I liked[emoji5]
