Well sefridges is the only place I saw the patent grey bays.......I will go there (as soon as possible) and confirm whether they are bentley or normal light grey - but I think they were definitely the light grey patent as they didn't have the beautiful dark two tone colour of the bentley - I must check teh red suede lining and wheels ot be sure - but yes sefridges is the only place out of harvey Nichols/House of Fraser/Bond Street that has the patent greys - I will check the mulberry in Harrods too - In fact tomorrow I will ring both sefridges and harrods to find out - as by the time I go this weekend they might have sold.

But I think it is a case of sefridges havign the last couple of patent grey bays left as in the mulberry flagship in bond street there were none - only in sefridges - hopefully we can confirm everything once I speak ot them tomorrow!

Oh and I shall ring the mulberry outlets in Bath and Bicester village and fingers crossed we'll have some luck and some answers!

^ I'm confused (again). Do you mean that the stores you just mentioned actually have the (light) grey patent Bays?

Right, we posted at the same time ;)

BTW nothing on ebay at the moment.

Also ... I read your first post too fast and misunderstood. Not confused anymore.

Also - this is going to sound a bit strange but I'm a new member and want to start a new thread (About the beautiful Burberry Lowry bag of anyone's interested) but can't for the life of me, work out how too! Can someone please help?

Hej Livia1, I have been in your exact situation, I was so in love with the patent grey Bayswater but there was no one to find in cph and all the ebays was fakes, but if you are going to usa or know somethere there, you can get it here: http://www1.bloomingdales.com/catal...5274&CategoryID=9719&PageID=9719*1*24*-1*-1*1

It was on sale (but with silver hardware) earlier this year. You cannot buy it with your danish creditcard there nor have it shipped directly to Denmark, but if you know someone is the us you can paypall them the money, they can buy and have it shipped there. I had a friend paying with her creditcard and another friend bringing it back to europe with him, it took a whole evening organising it on msn and a lot of favours ;D
Finally I got mine and I love it dearly and use it almost everyday.

Thanks, Pixelkitten. I remember your search ... and the very happy ending.

If I ever see you in the city with your grey patent Bays, you'd better hold on to that bag :boxing:

Unfortunately I don't know anyone in the US. I know someone who is going there in a few weeks but he's going to San Francisco so that might not work.

Oh dear, I just had a look at your link ... it's soo beautiful. And with the goldtone hardwear and everything :girlsigh:

Thanks Bagcrazy. I might give that a try if the San Francisco thing doesn't work ... which might not be so easy since Bloomingdales would have to have the grey Bays in that particular store.

The thing is, I don't have too much time for bag-searching at this moment as I'm going to the country next week and right after that I'll be moving. So perhaps I should put the search on hold for now ... won't be easy though as I'm sure you'll agree. Also, it might mean that I won't get it.

I believe there is always a 'second chance'!! If you don't get it now, I'm sure you will get it sometime in the future if you really want it.
I just decieded I won't buy any bags for the moment, as I just spend a fortune on a beautiful natural buffalo leather chair. So although I really would like to buy a new bag now, I will not. I'm sure moving will also cost you a lot of money, so better save it for your new house now!

You are so right. We will have to buy quite a lot of furniture like a sofa for instance. It's not really that I can't afford a bag it's more of a psycological thing, buying so much for our new place, I can't really concentrate on buying a bag. At least not when it's this 'complicated'. I'm sure I would buy it if they just had at the Mulberry store

However, I'll still try and ask my friend who's going to San Francisco to at least look for one.
