Where did you get that?
I would actually prefer to have the Mulberry stamp on the front - I don't like cars so much as to display the brand name on the bag.
And what do you mean by not making the grade??

Yes , I will do when I get back to Edinburgh , as I haven't got around to putting my little family on yet .What Mulberry do if they don't make the grade is that they just put the Mulberry stamp on the front rather than the Bentley . It is identical other than that.

I wonder if thats a stipulation by Bentley??? But wow!! Who cares, the color looks divine in the pics I have ever seen of it!!:girlsigh:

Absolutely! So she doesn't really need the red Mabel does she????! Flossie, you've got confused, it's a Mabel not a Bays & I need to confiscate it right now!
That's soooo funny . Let you now if I ever sell her. I love her too much atm tho:yes: I do have a couple of Roxys but only really use my oak one , and I have a big choco tote that I love cos I HATE carrier bags.

In Selfridges london they have patent grey bayswaters but with the mulberry stamp not the bentley. they are also a lighter grey and the bentley picture on the mulberry website (I have not been fortunate enough ot see one in real life) seems more darker and as stefy mentioned 'two tone'. but then flossie you mentioned that there are some bentleys that don't make the grade so are stamped with mulberry instead of bentleys - so do you reckon the ones in slefridges are those? Oh I know - I should check for the red suede lining as that is the other defining characteristic of the 'bentley' grey bayswater. I will check the bags in seflridges and ring mulberry tomorrow as I desperately want a bentley - I went to the bond street boutique and they said they were a ltd edition so there are no more but I will ring the mulberry enquiries line directly as they would no more. In the mean time would you be able to post some pics of your bentley bayswater flossie?

Ok sorry - got too excited and posted the reply without reading the whole thread!

so now I know what to look for - bags in a dark/two tone grey patent with red suede lining and wheels for the feet - that means its a bentley that dodn't quite make it and so has mulberry stamped on it - which I agree is so much better than having bentley stamped on it.

I will definitely check the ones in selfridges and then make some calls to Mulberry, the major London stores and outlets to see if they have any ''not quite up to scratch bentleys'' available....Also if you don't mind me asking flossie - but was your bentley that didn't quite make teh grade - the smae price as a normal bentley which in pounds is £795. Technically if they don't make the grade they should be of a lower price shouldn't they?

You know,I just hope I find one! Otherwise flossie - in the highky unlikely event that you ever get fed up of yours - you know whose willing to welcome it with open arms!!!
No, judging by your devotion to your red mabel I think thats unlikely! speaking of which what do you all think of the new mabel colours for this season?
In my opinion nothing can compare to the first mabel colour range with the patent black, purple and mushroom watersnake and midnight and red leather mabels and of course the classic black (the one with silver hardware) - these new ones are so exciting though!

Also - saw the new Roxanne in Indigo blue hair calf leather - Its Incredible - absolutely stunning!!

but personally I prefer for myself the Miu Miu Matelasse icon/ Coffer tote in dark blue - Its absolutley divine and I have fallen so so so in love with it - I just cant wait to get it!

Ivoire , it came from the outlet , and I paid a lot less than 795. The difference was mine didn't have Bentley stamped on it , was perfect though , so don't know why it was in the outlet.

I used mine today and tucked the flap back so the red suede was showing ... she's softening nicely now.
