So sorry about the incident but it looks great! Thanks for sharing!Almost died today!Like the OP, I had NO idea how a speck of (what I think to be) red wine got on my BF Birkin. Granted, it was a speck and I know these things will happen if I carry the bag, but as my SA said, the first is the worst! I remembered reading that water works wonders w this leather so a dabbed a little on...my mistake was rubbing...DO NOT EVER RUB THIS LEATHER...bec you will “flatten” the grain. I thought I made it worse, but DH days it looked about the same. After I got home, I tossed and turned for a few hours...couldn’t sleep so I started researching and found this thread, and a few others. I ended up dabbing the spot w a wet q-tip, then applying corn starch. OMG What happened next was MAGIC! The spot disappeared! Something similar happened to me too except with sweet tea. I dabbed it with a wet qtip and the stain immediately disappeared before my eyes as the water evaporated. You can literally see then water spot get smaller and smaller and smaller until it was just a flawless BF again.Almost died today!Like the OP, I had NO idea how a speck of (what I think to be) red wine got on my BF Birkin. Dear bababebi,Try talcum powder. If it is an oil based stain it will soak it up. It won’t damage the leather.
