Bandit has disappeared?

I think several factors: the weight of the bandit, which is nothing for me, since I'm used to substantial bags. Then the double handles can get in the way when opening/looking for things. Furthermore, the removable leather pouch is a great idea, but smaller items can slide around underneath-making the search for small things a pain. Any of these can be deal breakers to people, but I love the shape, style and color (got it in peony), so I'll just work around them.
As to your comment about the smaller items sliding underneath the center pouch, I thought I'd share what I did with my smaller Bandit. I never intended to use the pouch on its own so I used double-sided velcro and attached the bottom of the pouch to the bottom of the bag inside. It works remarkably well. I've even taken the pouch out and the velcro off and there was no damage to either side it was sticking to. Nothing slides under and it provides a nicely divided bag.
I tried the Bedford, and while I think it's a very nice bag, it is not going to work for me. It's simply too big and I'm not fond of a big dark hole of a bag. I'll be curious how well this one sells.

I liked this bag but they are just too big for me. People claimed they have the smaller one but I never saw it anywhere. Not at the department stores or any of the boutiques I’ve been to. Too bad, I would have bought one. The leather was amazing!!
I'm petite and after trying on the regular sized Rogue, 25, medium sized Bandit and small Bandit, I came to prefer the Bandits more due to their practicality over the Rogue. I didn't like that the Rogues were mainly hand carried, have to fold the handles on top of the bag, and the larger one was way too heavy for me. The smooshiness of the Bandits make it feel super comfortable to wear on the shoulder. The medium and 39 sizes are like the size of my torso but I'm okay with that lol. Anyway, I just found the small oxblood Bandit at my outlet and totally love it. It's a great size and everyone is right about the leather being amazing. If you're still interested, call up your outlet and see if they have one to put on hold for you to check out :P

I received the two Bandits I ordered from the outlet - Beechwood and Dark Denim. I'm definitely keeping the denim but one fence on the beechwood. I'm really more interested in the inner pouch from the beechwood to use with all my other Bandits. I like mixing the pouches to change up the look. I think for a hobo style, I prefer the beechwood color in the Edie 42 with the suede sides. So not the dilemma. Do I keep the bandit in beechwood to use the pouch or wait and see if I can find someone selling the pouch out of their's on one of the resale sites? I think I paid $222 plus tax for the entire bag. I guess I'll have to think on it. I think the chances of finding the pouch as a single item is slim and probably won't find a used item for much less than my new bag. Hmmm.....

Hi! I got the Dark Denim too and I love it!! I've seen pics of your Dusty Rose and Dark Turquoise Bandits and how you swapped out the Black Tooled Tea Rose pouch and put it into the Dark Turquoise one. It's gorgeous like that!
Since you're on the fence with Beechwood, I would say return it. Yes, there is a pretty high chance that you won't find anyone selling just the pouch itself, but I personally don't think it's worth it to keep a $222 bag for just the pouch. Since you prefer the Edie in Beechwood, you don't need the Bandit  The easy way to think about it is whether or not you want the bag or the $222 to go towards another bag. I bought several bandits recently and was on the fence on keeping one too. I had to ask myself if I really needed the bag in that many colors. I don't so it has to go back. The indecision never ends :yucky:

I'm on the fence too. I like the Beechwood with the burgundy/floral pouch from my black bandit, but not sure I even need either bag. Are these easy to carry? The double straps are throwing me off. Do they stay on shoulder? Is the bag easy to get into? That's what my dilemma is. That and then I see that gorgeous puddle of pebble glovetanned leather and the fantastic smell and I'm a gonner.

Do you sell on eBay? A seller I follow sold her bandit without the pouch. Just another idea to be able to keep the pouch. I did that with a mailbox bag. I really wanted the embellished top handle strap so I sold the bag sans strap I think after fees it cost me around $50 or so to keep it. I'm sure someone would jump right on the bandit at a reduced price.

Great idea, Holiday! I didn't think of doing it the reverse way. I also like your beechwood with the oxblood straps. When these came out a while ago, I wanted either chalk or beechwood and bought a rexy charm with hair to go with the beechwood one some day. My beechwood one has a wrinkle at the bottom that sort of bothers me and I may try having my outlet order me another one. I may keep it and see how adding other pouches changes its look or sell the bag and keep the pouch. I thought I saw someone selling a pouch on one of the resale sites but pretty sure it wasn't the one from the beechwood. I couldn't find it earlier and maybe it was the other way around....they kept the pouch as you noted.

Curious what others are doing with the thin strap on the interior pouch on this bag? It is sort of in the way. But all that squishy leather makes up for it. Looking for ideas...

The straps could be a little longer to stay up better, honestly. The magnet is pretty strong which is good. I actually haven't carried mine in a while and thinking of moving in to one. I can't remember if it was hard getting in and out. I'd say my Nomads are the easiest in and out. I don't find the Rogue's that easy either because you have to almost set it down to open the zippers. I still love Bandit, though. We make excuses for people/things when we like them. Then when we don't like them any more, those things excused become the pain point....isn't that the truth?!

Maybe I'm weird, but I never had a problem keeping the bandit on my shoulder. I only have one, but that's mostly because of color and hardware combinations; brass is my usual go-to, and of these I merely loved the peony. Have you tried them around the house? If not being able to take things in/out of the bag on your shoulder is problematic, then it's probably not the best style to keep. GL! I know the struggle with that beautiful leather!

Wow!!! I love this color combo. I already have two and probably don’t need a third. Or, do I?? :D
