Hi, can anyone provide any information regarding labels in an authentic Bally handbag? I see some have a cloth label that rads 'MADE IN ITALY' as well as a leather tag with a serial number. I just bought a bag which has a brass plate that reads 'BALLY' only, no 'Made in Italy'. There is no other tag at all. Any idea if this is authentic or not?

I want more from Bally but can't settle in anything. I am excited by their new canvas design and hope they make more of it in the years to come. Would love it in a lady's box style chain bag heheh
I used to like the brand until I found out that their 700 handbag and 350 wallet are made in China.
That's disappointing. I don't mind made in China, but I do mind paying for that large of profit margins.
Yep. I do have some made in China bags that I wouldn't mind buying because of price.
If I'm not wrong, there r other expensive brand made in China too, I wouldn't mind as long as quality is great!
True. A lot of brands have moved a substantial portion of production to China. I just can't justify knowingly spending more than $500 on a designer bag when I know the person who made it won't make that much in a month.

Hi, I recently purchased a coated canvas tote, there is a leather tag inside the pocket with the model name, some sort of a serial number and there is also a Made in Italy. The main tag also has a Made in Italy. HTH!
