It's beautiful!
The "holiday" will come and go, but this you can enjoy everyday for many years! Quality endures, and you get what you pay for.
Have fun and be happy with your new love.
Congrats!!!

Ladies, could I ask for your advice? I love Cartier and would like to get a ballon bleu. My husband prefers I get a Rolex. I'd like to get the bb in two tone - stainless steel and yellow gold. The only thing that's holding me back, is that I find it so strange that Cartier decided to put 3 gold links each up and down, then leave the back all stainless instead of making the alternate links continuous throughout the bracelet. Cartier wrote that I can't purchase gold 'replacement' links either. Considering the hefty price tag, that for me is the only hiccup with perfection.

I would choose Rolex, but if you love more BB, what I totally understand, I wouldn't be bothered by the missing yellow gold links, I think it doesn't make watch looking less pretty))

Hey ladies, I feel as if I am about 5 years late on the ballon bleu bandwagon, but here I am! I have sold my Chanel j12 and purchased the stainless steel ballon bleu in hope for a more classier watch. Please tell me I have done the right thing?
I was so confused with sizing and ended up with the 33mm, I have no idea what to pair it with, maybe a tennis bracelet?

Anyway I have huge buyers remorse with my husband saying 'you are wearing a really nice holiday on your wrist' but I am a sucker for watches.

Is it the right size for me?

Thank you :-)View attachment 3142451

It looks gorgeous on you and the size is perfect!))

This is the man reason I have not yet pulled the trigger on the BB. This drives me nuts about the watch! I love the idea of a two tone but I feel for this price, Cartier should carry the gold all the way under the bracelet! If I ever get the BB, I think I would get the stainless because of that very issue!

OP- I LOVEEEEEEEEE the watch on you! Perfect fit and I agree with others, just wear it alone. It's too beautiful to fight for attention with something paired next to it. Save all your other arm candy for your other wrist :)

I hope the buyer's remorse is gone. This watch is so gorgeous on you, you got the perfect size, I love it all by itself (it doesn't need a stack!), and it looks amazing with your e-ring and wedding band. Well done!

The watch is gorgeous on you. Chanel is ok, but Cartier is timeless. The BB is going to be here for a while, and is a good investment piece I think. I bought a BB too, I wear it alone, and it has gotten me so many compliments. Sure I want to go to Europe, but when I wear this, it makes me feel like queen. Enjoy it it is perfect on you! Also, don't stack, it looks beautiful on its own!
