Balenciaga Size Comparisons

I had no idea you were a mathematician. That's a great way to compare bags!

I am so not a math person (despite my studious looking glasses).

EDIT: Since you called me a “mathematician”, you got me nervous about my math . So I went back to check my numbers using the Bal official site. My initial numbers for the First and the Town were good (negligible differences) but the number for the City was off by 100 (shame on me, lol). I must have previously used measurements from another Bal reference site. So I have updated the numbers for my own records.

First — 242 cubic inch
Town — 387 cubic inch
City — 878 cubic inch

Thank you so much...so the city as whateve told me on another thread is larger by a lot but seeing them together makes it so much easier...
Im use to paring down to essentials for some of my smaller coach bags but I do tend to carry a lot more.
Still so in love with the first colour...cant get it out of my head but whether or not its worth it for the price is what Im trying to figure out.
I'd add that the Town is more north/south than the other two.

Most of my bags are on the larger side. Leather fetish
I know this is an old post, but I can't help myself: you must be my leather sister! I love everything leather, and when I get something new or new-to-me, I need to take in the scent of the leather for a while, so I will walk around the house smelling the new leather item. Not with the shoes though, but what a treat to put the new shoes on every time and sniff the leather scent! I also love the smell of new leather, like in the new car seats. Oh, if I could afford it, I'd switch my car to a new one every year only to have that new-leather scent for a few months. No car air fresheners are allowed in my car for that purpose.

Hello, I recently acquired a Velo in GGH in excellent condition. I'm wondering if anyone here have any idea on how to shorten the strap? On other Velo's its pretty easy to just loop it but GH has thicker strap so looping it is not an option.
TIA!

What type of strap is it? Does it have a buckle? Can't recall which year they started the buckle but probably not.

Thank you for your fast response Muchstuff :)
I tried looping it but it won't go through the ring as the strap and hook width is too wide. It's a little long for my height and uncomfortable carrying it at the long length. I read one of the PurseForum member had it shortened when she bought from Balenciaga years back but that wouldn't be an option for me since I bought it from a reseller. Can't seem to find other info on how to shorten this particular strap.

So you’re saying the bale won’t fit through the O ring? If that’s the case you may have to get it shortened by your local cobbler.

Does anyone happen to still own a mini classique? I’d love to see a size comparison with a First, and to have your opinion about this size…
I saw this cutie on Vinted app and as I’m very careful when it comes to add a bag to my collection, have to ask myself if I’ll really use it… Having some Bal-lovers’ inputs would be great!
TIA
