I talked to my fabulous SA at Nordstrom and they are getting the Blue India Part Time around October 13th. And the City. I am on both lists, so I have a little more time to make a decision! She put a City and PT together, and then measured the difference. She says the PT is 3/4" shorter in height than the City, and about 2 1/4" wider. Hope that helps! I do love that the shoulder strap appears to be longer. Maybe this is the B-briefcase!

I have tried on the part time and my first reaction was that it made me shorted and it would have been OK if I had high heels but I wouldn't have felt good wearing it with flats, so I would just say that in my opinion it's not for petites (I am 5'4", 1m67)
I wish I had measured the Part Time shoulder strap against a City strap. My impression was that it wasn't any longer - so I think it might just be longer enough to accommodate the extra width of the Part Time, but the net result is that the should strap drop is about the same. Hope that makes sense! 
OK, so after much thought I went with the Camel Part Time for my first Bbag. I am very pleased. The leather, in my opinion, is quite nice. Not veiny and shiny like the black ones.
I will post some pics later this week, but you should know that the main deciding factor for me was the longer strap. You can very easily wear it messenger style. And I was concerned about it being too wide for me, as I am only 5'2" and small framed. Looks fine.
It is not too short from top to bottom and holds a lot of stuff. A lot of people have complained that they found it disproportionate. If you are used to carrying the City I understand. But I love mine! Thanks for the support!

I love my Part-time bag!! It holds alot of stuff. My next one...will be with the GGH...don't know if I will get it in black or what...since I have the PT in RH.
