I really wouldn't want to be a buyer and have to make these decisions based on what I think would sell the best ... but yeah, you'd think black would be one of the "basics" in any style!!!

I agree. I can see how some retailers like NM might be more selective in the color/styles they offer but come on, we're talking about BNY. It's like the LV store on 5th Ave deciding not to order any more monogram speedy's

I saw a camel part time at Nordstrom last night. It was the same height as the city (or very, very close) and several inches wider. I didn't think to check the strap length. I liked the color, though I didn't care for the leather on the particular bag I saw (they had a camel first that was really nice though). Didn't love the shape either--it felt too horizontal and it seems like it might be weird when it gets slouchy.

I saw the Part-Time in Emerald a few weeks ago at Holt's and it is noticeably shorter than the City as they had them side-by-side. I tried it on but it felt just a little too...squat, for lack of a better word! But I like taller bags so it's really personal preference, it did look like it would hold a lot!

I'm surprised; I did not know that they were producing the part time in older colors (older than the pre-fall 2006 colors).

Nope, it was definitely Emerald...they did not have any Sapin bags in Part-Time at Holt's yet, only Day and City, and the colour difference between the two is quite obvious

Actually, this is the Work. If you read the dimensions, you will see it matches the Work. That website is none too accurate when it comes to identifying the styles.
