Bal Intel - F/W 2011

Ladies,
I just got home from a full day of Bal-researching. First, I started off at the Bal SCP boutique. My sweet SA there didn't even know the names of the upcoming F/W colors, nor did he have a swatch.
I then drove about an hour to a private, upscale boutique. I ended up buying a Light Olive RH City (my third time with this bag, but that's another story...) and ended up chatting with the buyer.
OMG!!!!
She just came back from the showroom in New York and had a FULL BINDER of pictures. She showed me the color swatches, and PICTURES of the upcoming bags!!! Here's the scoop:
Papyrus: I saw a picture of the RGGH City. It's like a darker version of Galet. It was the color that caused the most buzz amongst all the buyers. She ordered the most styles/hardware of this color.
Coquelot (sp?): Saw a pic of this in the Pompon. The picture seemed like a bright coral/tomato, but the swatch was much darker. She said the picture looked nothing like the real color... that it's darker and much more like the swatch. Another color all the buyers went ga-ga- over.
Paeon (sp): The swatch looked like a lighter version of Cyclade. I was hoping it would be like the picture of the peacock, but it's not. this particular buyer wasn't impressed with it and didn't order many pieces in it.
Some purple color (forget the name): She said this was the most GORGEOUS purple she's ever seen... and like nothing that Bal has ever produced before. To me, the swatch looked like Raisin, but she said no, it's not like that IRL. It's a deep, deep purple that manages to be bright at the same time.
Overall, Papyrus was the #1 hit of all the buyers. She personally loves Papyrys, Coquelot, and the purple color and ordered the most in those three colors.
Oh, and Vert Menthe? The reason she didn't buy it in any bags was because she was not impressed with it IRL. None of the buyers she saw when she was there purchased bags in Vert Menthe, either. Something about it IRL must be flat or dull or off. That's just my guess.
Ok... that's it. I'm still recovering from almost fainting at the F/W pictures. Start saving like crazy, ladies!!! I know I am

I just wanted to add I mentioned my SA at the LVBal said something about a turquoise GGH City they are getting over the summer. She said its going to be like a cyclade color and it's similar to the 2005 turquoise. However Riry said that Paeon reminded her of cyclade so I wonder if that's the color my SA is talking about she didn't have the name of it yet.
Thanks for the info riry - like you know I love love love purples & blues! So it looks like I have to start a very serious & aggressive savings plan.......

The red seems to havea n orange tone to it - from the looks of the collection picson the Bal site.

Girl you got me sweating!!! Thank you for the info!!! Dis she say anything about it being orange/corall, or was it just the picture that didn't resemble the true color that looked like that!?! I would love love love a red, but not if it has orange in it...

The purple seems wonderful, a deep purple that is also bright But since I have a Sapphire City (that has not faded!!) it's enough purple for me. However the Papyrus seems really promising, I would love something in a dark Galet color

If the new purple is Bleu Lavande, could Bal be the next fashion house after Chanel to roll out an Hermes-like Iris purple...?
