I have sold around 20 bags in the past 4 years to fund newer bags.
The majority of my Balenciaga collection but still have 4 bals that I love to pieces.
Chanel mini square and Chanel woc in black, sold it to fund my Coco handle and another Chanel woc in red
LV Pochette metis and alma bb, sold to fund Palm springs mini bp and Neverfull mm
Prada lux tote large size, sold to fund 2 other Prada lux tote in the mini size
Other bags that I simply wasn't using just got sold, Chanel GST, Lady dior in white, Fendi kani, Chloe paraty, Mulberry alexa.
I try and adopt the 1 in and 1 out rule for now

1. Rebecca Minkoff Neon Pink Mini Mab
Reason: It had a bit of damage, the color seemed painted on.
Regrets: Deep, deep regrets to this day since I never found a perfect bright neon pink (the kind that hurts your eyes I love)

2. Fossil forgot the name quilted fabric bag.
Reason: It was purple with green and lots of details and I was unable to make it work. It was a cute bag, but a collector loved it more than me.
Regrets?: A little

3. MK Haley MD White and Black
Reason: I was unable to make it work and hardly wore it. The black and white combo was too tricky to pair with my outfits. The Vintage Style was cute but I am not a huge fan of MK and simply prefer my other bags.
Regrets: No

RM Mini Mac Fuchsia/ Gold
Reason: Replacement for my neon pink Mini Mac and the color just never compared :/
Regrets?: No

I sold a bunch of no name and faux leather bags with no regrets. My brand name or quality leather bags I have a hard time letting go off.

I put tons of time and research into each bag before buying, as I don't intend to sell my bags. I keep a relatively small collection (8 premier bags). However, I did sell a Saint Laurent Mini Y. It was a tiny, lovely little cross body, but I don't know what I was thinking, buying a bag that couldn't accommodate my phone!

I have sold one bag- my Chanel PST. I think it's an adorable bag but it didn't work for me. Stuff kept falling out, and it was an awkward size. I couldn't fit what I needed in it, either. It made me sad to sell because I love Chanel. I hope to purchase a flap bag one day, but I'm going to wait many years when my primary daily activity isn't chasing little kids around and carrying around diapers!
