Yay! Which one? I have a Copley, the only one big enough to hold all my stuff. I love it! Mine was from a fellow TPF'er and in excellent condition. Got it for $100.

I think Balenciaga bags are the least tacky out of most bags. There isn't really anything flashy about it. Just gorgeous soft leather. I have A LOT of bags and I have to say my classic hardware black Balenciaga City is my most used/prized possession. That bag is amazing.

Coach's Italian Madison line from the mid-1990s. Made of caviar leather and so ladylike and classic!

I love that line! I personally don't have anything from that line (I wasn't even born around that time) but my mom does have one and it is gorgeous!

Lady Dior
Diorissimo
Chanel Classic Flap
Chanel Reissue
Hermes Birkin
Hermes Kelly
LV Speedy
Balenciaga City

Most of these bags have already passed the test of time. They are still highly coveted even years after their original launch, and look as chic as ever.

I agree. But what I love on the list is the Hermes Birkin.

The Balenciaga City has been around for so long and it's still seen on the arms of many people. It has this effortless chicness to it. And its design is impressive enough that it doesn't even need a logo!

Wow, you're a young one! In the mid 90's I was pushing 30. Now I'm pushing 50! Eeeek! Still can't believe that was 20 years ago. Seems more like 10.

If I didn't carry around a huge hard case for my sunglasses and a monstrously overstuffed wallet, it would be a perfect size. It's just a bit too small for me.

I love your collection. I'm so sad I miss out on the city that year. I was offered one as a very good deal, but didn't care for it during that time. I fell in love with it years later.

I'm another one that doesn't think the Bal City will ever look dated.
One of a few bags where the leather is really the star. It's the first thing I notice when I see
Bals.. the delicious puddles of leather that gain character with age.

Oh, and you never look like you're trying hard with a Bal - another reason I love it.
