I didn’t buy it, but for several years seriously lusted after after a vintage Coach Pony Express bag. I did have an opportunity to buy one a couple years ago for about $300 in great condition (they are being listed for up to over $1,000 online) but just couldn’t pull the trigger on an online purchase that was not returnable. I’m very glad I didn’t as visually it just appears larger to me than in real life. Someone last year did a side by side pic with a bag I have a real feel for and I am so glad I did not buy it! It reinforced it is a great bag to look at, but money aside, I want a bag I will use. If I came across it cheap (lol flea market cheap) I would happily refurbish it and test drive it. But is no longer on my wish list.

The Coach Rogue 25! I had been eyeing that bag for almost a year, bought it on sale at the outlet for more than 50% off, got one in decently good condition, and then...

I just couldn't make it work. Carrying it by the top handles was awkward because they're kind of hard, but if I used the shoulder strap, the top handles flopped in and made it hard to access the two slip compartments. The bag was heavy empty and even heavier when I put stuff in it. Because it's a relatively large bag, I wanted to be able to carry a small water bottle, but it was just too heavy. Plus, I was nervous about the hangtag falling off, since that's a problem with the bag.

Such a beautiful bag, but I couldn't carry it even around the mall without getting irritated!

OMG...exact same experience! I wanted to love it but just couldn’t. And I needed to carry it crossbody, and the only way to do that with the Rogue is to clip the two shoulder straps together. Then it was way too long and the clips dug into my shoulder.

Another disappointment for me was Alexander Wang’s Diego bucket. I so loved the style and the look, and still do! But to actually use it was impossible. It was SO heavy, and the style of the top cinching mechanism made it so difficult to get in and out of. I hate bags designed for looks instead of usability!

Bucket bags! I love the look of them and I am tempted to buy another one every season but then I remember that I hate drawstring closures! Lol I have a Mulberry Abby (no drawstring but a small postman‘s lock) that has a fun color combination but I never ever use the bag.

Me too, love the look and feel but the weight of the Rogue is ridiculous, I have Prairie studs in medium and plain is the small size. Even the small feels like I’m carrying a brick around, I’ve tried adding a longer wider strap still not functional.
