This thing is so tiny, with an insert you wont have room for anything else + it’s tiny and rigid so it wont loose shape overtime ;)
Hihi, thanks for replying 😊
My main concern isn’t on maintaining the shape since it’s sellier. It’s more to protect the internal since it’s a light colored bag. I found this Thai brand Merandi. They are using thai silks and the thickness is quite thin.

Just sharing here in case anyone like me is also looking for one. ;)

I use 7RP for my kellys and birkins as well (all in size 25), for birkin 25 in retourne i prefer to use the 7RP model in 25B sellier as its slightly smaller and doesn't stretch the bag that much than the retourne version
Hi, I bought a sellier insert before the bag arrive (as 7RP was doing a free shipping last time). But right now my SA offer me the retourne style instead.

You mentioned that you used the sellier insert for retourne B25, can I check if the bag show sign of sagging? Does the sellier insert provide enough support and does not damage the shape of the bag?

My B25 retourne are in togo leather and given the relatively small size I don't feel like they need additional support from bag inserts and there is no sign of sagging even when they're empty without bag inserts / pillow. I prefer the 7RP B25 sellier insert over the retourne insert (I have both models) as it doesn't stretch the 2 sides of the bag that much. Hope this helps :)

Thanks so much. I’m worried that by not using the correct model insert, it would damage the bag. But seems like the sellier insert has a better fitting on the retourne Birkin 😊

does anyone own both k25 retourne and sellier from mai tai? if one were to get a sellier insert, would it fit ok in the retourne? im sure the other way around wouldnt fly bc the retourne is bigger than the sellier?

I tried the Purseket a long time ago and hated it. It was bulky and unattractive. The best thing for me has been the Karo. I keep all the loose items in it and have the benefit of a smart looking clutch when I need it.
@Trocadero Thank you for sharing your use of Karo as an insert for your clutches! I will definitely try that. 😊

I carry a Karo GM in the middle (comparably cavernous) section of my bag inserts. I keep my cosmetic items in it as they tend to be of varying odd shapes and sizes, but I never considered using it as an insert on its own.

I also have a SLG in über-thin lamb with a top zip and leather tab zipper pull. I'm trying to recall the name. She is Bleu Electrique. If I can find her, I could try that as well.

Just last night I took Miss Egee out to dinner and struggled to find an insert option that will keep her lining pristine. I have a soft fabric "mitten-shaped" amenity from a stay at Le Maurice that I use to place my bits and bobs in when wearing clutches, but it has one short side open so there's no ability to separate items within it.

I've scoured the insert threads for days looking for practical insert ideas for Miss Egee, Miss Jige Elan, and other clutches, but to no avail. I may have to get another Jige Elan in the Duo model just to have another narrow form factor SLG piece with a zipper to use as an insert. Still, it seems I'd have "wasted" space to the side(s) with that insert strategy.

I wish I could find something specifically designed for these clutch styles that would allow me to maximize my interior organization while protecting both the interior and exterior spaces from any impressions of their contents.

Yes, I do.
I have more 25 selliers than retournés (4/2 I think), so it's not uncommon for me to pull the sellier insert out of one bag and put it in a retourné. It's fine. Might not be ideal or good for the insert long-term, but certainly works. (I have also been known to put a K25 insert in a K28 when in a rush, this definitely is not a clean solution  .) (ETA: you CAN squish a retourné insert into a sellier but I do not recommend. For a hundred euro or so it's worth getting the right size insert :)).

I just read this quickly and transposed your text as "I have more than 25 selliers"!!

I just received my custom insert for my Cabasellier 31 (I picked the outer and inner colors). I have to say, it is so well made and fits my bag like a glove! I previously used a Zoomoni one, which was quite good as well, but my new one is twice as tall and more sturdy (though it isn't felt). It keeps my bag perfectly upright now.

I ordered it from bag_trunk on instagram and it took ~3 months since they don't offer it on their site. But they were very responsive and kept me updated throughout the order process.

Would definitely recommend!
