If that ever happened to me I would have complained to the manager. There is no excuse for rudeness!

I would have gone right back over there, with LV bag in hand, asked for the store manager and tell them you just made a purchase at NM bc of their bad customer service. No one should be treated that way.

they are notorious for looking at people and automatically assuming how much money you are going to spend. its happend to me all the time, but now i have established associates who i work with and no one else. normally, i forget the sas and go straight for the managers and become "friends with them" the sa at the lv boutique in sf knows me preety good, she calls me atleast 1-2x a month to check on things and i always bypass everyone at the store and go to the counter and ask for her, if shes not there i leave a mmsg and have her find/help me with what I want and have it shipped..same thing at chanel....the guy i know theres been helping me for years. even if i dont buy anything, he knows im "potentially going to buy something" sooner or later.

its sad that they are able to treat u that way, but then again...i mean i guess from there point of view they probably have people coming into there boutiques who are "just browsing" to see what the lv phenomenon is all about and have no intent on buying kwim?

i dunno, its not an excuse. im just trying to see there side.

I guess that's why I always display my designer bags and go to my LV in my work clothes to command better service. Hehe, the doorman even opens the door for me after i buy a bag, but not before!:p

Thing is tho, I love browsing and I have often experienced SAs who won't leave you if you are holding a bag and they keep it rightaway after you've put it down. IT annoys me cause it makes me feel like they think I'm gonna take it if they don't keep it away from me.

I admire how the guy in Chanel can be so helpful to you even if you don't buy anything. You must command a lot of respect from SAs I think. Kudos to you bella!

YEah I agree with the other girls, a PRETTY WOMAN scene is definitely in order!!! I had a snobby LV SA once. I stomped off and bought my DIOR bag and came back to LV, but didn't see that SA. felt a little silly and show off...:shame:
