i havent seen any AW bag in real life until i received my lia in espresso yday. it is soooooo pretty and the leather is so soft and supple :graucho: hope u love it too!!

i only just received my lia sling messenger yday and loved the stud detail so much i bought to grey rocco last night from the saks sale!!!! cannot wait to receive it...

does anyone know how long it usually takes for saks to ship? i havent received any notification about shipment yet...

Ladies -- check Barneys.com if you bought a bag from Saks ... Barney's has some of them cheaper!

I just saved over $100 because Saks did a price match with Barney's! Make sure that you don't miss out on getting a credit!

^^I just called Saks and was told that they would be unable to complete a price adjustment because the Barney's price is not a permanent mark down. So, I guess I will have to repurchase a few things from Barney's and send my Saks order back. Such a pain. :pout:

Call again and get a different rep -- that might work. How would they know that the Barney's sale isn't a permanent markdown?

OK I am such a spaz.

I ordered the ponyhair rocco from Saks for 30% off. Then I saw it on Barneys.com for 40% off, so I called Saks and had them do a price match.

Then I saw the bag on Bergdorf Goodman's site, and since I don't live in NY they don't charge sales tax when they ship. So I just ordered another bag from the BG site and that will save me about $50 in sales tax.

When the bag from Saks comes, I will just return it at the store. I'm always wanting to make sure I get the best price!

^^Called Saks back this morning to see if they would price adjust for the Goodman sale. I was told that they don't price adjust sale items. I'm tempted to call later and see what other story they give me. :laugh:

Yum! Alexander wang leather is the best isn't it? :smile1: I think a lia is going to be my next purchase, it's such a classy bag that goes with almost everything.
