I think it looks much too similar to Acte III, only with an added four-different-sides border. But safe choice for H, although I wonder how many will buy this design if they already own Acte III.
That's exactly what I thought. Except I couldn't buy a '90s from acte III. As much as I admired the cws on others, for me there was none that suited me. So I hope ...

Sharing some 90cm silks that a dear friend kindly shared with me from their store reopening in Sydney. :hbeat::love:

Wow!
La Légende de la Forêt by Emeline Piot - looks very interesting!

Yes you are correct on the French, Silk Gardens. Her previous H designs like Les Chemins Secrets and Aux Pays des Oiseaux-Fleurs will give you a good idea of this new design (full of small flora and fauna).

Brandebourg Points will also come as an exceptional (140), as will Plumes en Fête (90). ;)

The Plumes CSGM is about the only women’s scarf/shawl I’m truly interested in buying, but it’s competing with one of the men’s CSGMs (and probably losing). But love the feathers, it’s such a great design! (I don’t have it in a 90, don’t really do that format.) Not always a fan of what they come up with in terms of CWs, especially for shawls, so very interested to see.

Oh you tease!
Looking forward to hearing more about the men's collection

Edourd Baribeaud definitely has a "style" and I can see the similarity btn Acte III and La Danse des Amazones but given a great CW, it could be a beautiful scarf to add to my collection.

But am I alone in thinking La Légende de la Forêt is just fantastic (only one other mentioned it)? My reaction is WOW!!! The CW on display wouldn't work for me but this is the kind of design that I definitely need in my life. Fingers crossed there are good CWs for me...happens a lot that H has combos that just don't work in designs I've love the most. Somewhat concerned given the colours for the season but they always manage to throw something in there. I'll even buy a neutral if you twist my arm ;)

Thanks, @Meta, for that appetizer :hbeat:

I have a 90 (in lavender with the red hem) and a CSGM (in pink/navy) of Acte III, yet I find myself heavily drawn to the new La Danse design. Right off the bat, that brand new orange and dark orange color way of La Danse is immediately wearable for me, whereas it took me forever to decide upon one Acte III 90 colorway that would work. While the new La Danse gives the initial appearance of a potential stage setting, similar to Acte III, to my eyes, it also gives off a vibe of no-expense-is-too-great residential grandeur. I will be very interested to read the description of what the scarf depicts according to the artist. I have a hunch that the colorways for this new scarf will be more universally appealing than those used for Acte III. Before seeing the new images of the A/W scarves, I was actually considering another Acte III CSGM, because I love that design so much! I am excited about this new design from Edouard Baribeaud.

Sorry Freddie, didn’t mean to tease!
But indeed nothing has been shared yet from the men’s collection, while that’s always the one I by far most look forward to as well! The coming collection is great IMO!

Some intel on the 100s: designs by Anamorphée, Elias Kafouros and Daiske Nomura, all cashmere/silk mix.

And these two from the runway. The first swirly one (not a great pic, the swirls better seen on some of the RTW) is a 100cm silk. The second one with the small leaves is a 65cm cashmere/silk.

:flowers: (am I off the hook for now?)

Thanks for the info, an interesting set of collaborators, and based on the runway, we could certainly be in for some psychedelics!
Hopefully the colourways continue to become a little more exciting and dynamic too.
