Oh! I had decided that I had reached the end of my scarf buying era:

• I am so very ill and spend most days in bed. I will not get better.
• I haven’t worn any scarves for months.
• I don’t have any more room for scarves.
• people like me don’t buy H scarves!

I have been collecting older scarves with an “Ancient History” theme. That Greek helmet. Those Ancient Greek motifs!

And DH has said that I can buy one shawl! I want Plumes en Fête!

I am so sorry you are ill. I do,however, envision a perfect day for you- sitting in bed with your Danse des Amazones draped around you, enjoying a read ( or re-read) of ( you pick it) The Iliad, M.Miller's "Song of Achilles" .... the possibilities are endless!
And allow me to throw a wrench in your works- notice that Trojan Horse in "Exposition Universelle"? I know, I'm a bad influence...... With that many books and stories, you will NEED 2 scarves!

Oh oh FW 2020 is sounding dangerous for the wallet. For me it really depends on the actual CWs. Many of the designs sound so Appealing.

Hi, Jardins de Soie is designed by Christine Henry.

Does this translate to Garden of Silk? (The only French I have learned has come from studying Hermes. ) I can't wait to see this design. I am also fascinated by the Brandenbourgs Points. I missed out on all formats of Brandenbourg, so I am really interested in this one. The plumes shawl will most definitely be one for me. I would love to be wrapped in bird feathers.
