Oh no. Oh no, no, no - this is no good!
Jan Bajtlik, Pierre Marie, Ugo Gattoni, Edouard Baribeaud, Alice Shirley AND Annie Faivre - all in the same season?! And that’s just the 90s! :amazed::drool:
I have exactly the same feeling, these designers strong on the details, which I really die for that. This is a critical year for budget planning.

Sharing some 90cm silks that a dear friend kindly shared with me from their store reopening in Sydney. :hbeat::love:

Thank you very much for sharing, dear Meta. And many thanks to Croisette7 and Angelian, too. I am so very happy to receive information and photos of the upcoming season. I am soo curious about the offered cws.

Does this translate to Garden of Silk? (The only French I have learned has come from studying Hermes. ) I can't wait to see this design. I am also fascinated by the Brandenbourgs Points. I missed out on all formats of Brandenbourg, so I am really interested in this one. The plumes shawl will most definitely be one for me. I would love to be wrapped in bird feathers.

Yes you are correct on the French, Silk Gardens. Her previous H designs like Les Chemins Secrets and Aux Pays des Oiseaux-Fleurs will give you a good idea of this new design (full of small flora and fauna).

Brandebourg Points will also come as an exceptional (140), as will Plumes en Fête (90). ;)

The Plumes CSGM is about the only women’s scarf/shawl I’m truly interested in buying, but it’s competing with one of the men’s CSGMs (and probably losing). But love the feathers, it’s such a great design! (I don’t have it in a 90, don’t really do that format.) Not always a fan of what they come up with in terms of CWs, especially for shawls, so very interested to see.

Thank you for this information. I am curious about the colorways too. The pinks/green sounds promising. I didn't think I would be interested in much last season, but I wound up picking up several 90s and a csgm.

Does anyone know if there will be any 70s or mousselines, and if so, how many are issued in a season? I love those formats, but do wish H would move away from the tattoo-style limited color palette.

That new Baribeaud needs a close reading, like his Acte III ! Interesting and rich in symbolism.

Oh! I had decided that I had reached the end of my scarf buying era:
  • I am so very ill and spend most days in bed. I will not get better.
  • I haven’t worn any scarves for months.
  • I don’t have any more room for scarves.
  • people like me don’t buy H scarves!
But...

La Danse des Amazones (by Edouard Baribeaud)!!!!

I have been collecting older scarves with an “Ancient History” theme. That Greek helmet. Those Ancient Greek motifs!

And DH has said that I can buy one shawl! I want Plumes en Fête!

Aargh!!!!!
Always nice to hear from you HH. Your choices are always so thoughtful.

Yes, there will be 70s but no mousselines (only limited to Spring/Summer). The 70s for this season will supposedly feature a hand-rolled printed border. :)

Moussies are not part of a winter season.
There are four 70s coming, none of them tattoo-style. All true designs (not graphic) in vintage silk; three classics and one remix of a classic.

I think it looks much too similar to Acte III, only with an added four-different-sides border. But safe choice for H, although I wonder how many will buy this design if they already own Acte III.
