My apologies. Still learning the scarf lingo.

I took some more pictures, but they are reflecting a lot of light, and the color ends up being lighter than what I see. I asked DH if he would call it tan, and he said no, more copper. Hermes named it cinnamon, and there is definitely some pinkish-red and golden tones in the border. In fact, it is very close to the color of some of my red-gold jewelry.
Ahhh, had I checked out that ‘Cannelle’ was cinnamon, I’d have easily answered my own question. Thank you for this valuable info.

Teal Toucans with teal Soirée de gala, I know they are very different scarves, but it might be too much duplication for me. View attachment 4796721
Ok I can see how they are the same colors. But the scale and subject of the print is completely different. i think you can justify keeping it. for myself, I prefer the green/teal one as I fear the other one would be too pale on me. Actually I know I am totally useless as I have a zillion scarves in similar shades of blue, but justify keeping all of them because of different subject matter, scale, etc. but I do in fact wear them. Some of my scarves where I tried to “step out of my comfort zone” color wise, tend to languish.

I like the way you think! Subject matter and scale make scarves very different, I agree. Good reason to keep ‘em all!
Also congrats on getting EU. I am now seriously considering this one because of you! My wallet says “Gee, thanks!” with a little huff and a puff. But I just say “thanks!!”

Thanks for the pictures, Fifi. I was thinking this color was looking sort of caramel, which it does in the pictures with the black top, but it is looking more orange when you have on the blue top. It may be the opposing colors doing this, or perhaps the camera adjusts a bit to the colors it sees. In any case, absolutely spectacular knotting.
Thank you so much!

Quick picture of Grand Tenue Wash Scarf...love the softness and coziness of these... took a picture indoors and outdoors against a white T-shirt to show the color... apologies for the messy tie...too hot to play with silks here lately.
