Looks like there are more than 1 CW for the Festival des Amazones Encadre shawl 140. Previously we only saw one CW, with deep blue (Marine) as its main color in the middle(CW 04), but now there's a CW 03 on the US website, with Rouge being its main color. I tried to find the previous post for CW 04 (I'm pretty sure I have seen it in this thread) but couldn't find it, maybe it got deleted for some reason? Anyways, here it is...

Edit: and looks like there may be even more CWs potentially?

...Why has the entire conversation re Festival des Amazones Encadre been moved here...?
Wasn’t it established quite early on that it is SS 2021? :confused1:
Would there really be 4-5 previously unseen cws surfacing online now if it was in fact from AW 2020...?

*Edit* Also - the models weren’t styled wearing white shirts AW 2020, like the model is wearing for cw 04, so...maybe the posts should be moved back?:biggrin:

Yes, my initial post for this shawl was also moved here, and now momoc's latest post. Really not sure why as the scarf is definitely S/S'21. Hope mods can correct this.

It's a total bummer that they have no modshots for any of the new CWs :( I don't think my store will ever get these (they've gotten so few S/S'21 scarves) but I don't want to buy online without even seeing a modshot.

Very late addition to this thread because I don't see anything about it here, but perhaps I've missed it. My husband doesn't really do formal birthday gifts (he's wonderful and just gets my bag whenever it arrives) but the last few years he will go buy a scarf. He came home with the pink Kelly en Perles (which I had never looked at) and said he did a bit of research this time.

He said the beads are each actually textured on this scarf and you can feel them - and I have to say, he's absolutely right. You can feel a bit of something raised on each bead (I initially assumed it's the white stuff they use and I'm pretty sure it is).

I have no idea where he heard this (50% chance the salesperson told him this, and of course he always sneaks in and never tells them he's my husband, so he winds up working with someone different every time), but he's totally right on this, I can feel it. Has anyone else noticed this?

All the website says is:
"The scarf 140 is reinvented as the velvety wash scarf. Washed by our artisans' expert hands, the scarf is transformed into a relaxed, mattified, and ever so slightly faded piece, gaining an irresistible downy touch. This exclusive process makes each scarf unique and can slightly alter its dimensions.
See the Care section for details on how to care for your Wash scarf."

How sweet of your husband to take the time to find something for you in your favorite color, I presume, and take the time and interest to learn about it, too, in order to please you for your birthday. Happy Birthday, @Notorious Pink.

Not completely on topic, but I’m looking for the 90 exposition universelle in rose/mauve/multicoloure... I love the design but only that colour is my taste... does anyone know if they will bring it back as it is last season, or if they will release something very similar/cute animal themed this year? Thank you!!

Sometimes designs are reissued but if that design was reissued it wouldn’t be for a while. That artist produces a fair number of new scarves for Hermès and I saw on IG that he has a new scarf in the works. But you can find exposition on the website still, and in boutiques and likely on eBay!

Thank you! I’m deciding between that (which I can’t get...) and the rose vif/vert rouge. So hard to decide... ☹️ Don’t want to settle, but I don’t know if the one I want would even suit me and the rose vif actually looks okay looking back at the photos now! I’m 24 and I’m worried a bright pink/red will really age me and give me the ‘auntie’ vibes, and this is my first Hermès scarf so I want it to be perfect

I understand that concern about aging but I think if you just work the scarf into your wardrobe it works out. There are also more modern ways to tie the scarf, like in a braid, that can make them more youthful. Regarding it being perfect - I get it and it should be perfect for you! I’d do some searches to see modeling shots of the color you want, so it gives you an idea of how it will look versus the website photo.

IRL the colors are much more muted than on the website. I like that this cw is less busy looking and makes a nice color range statement. Will work w cream, grey, burgundy warm pinks, black, navy snd rusty browns. if it’s good for your coloring it will not be aging.

Thank you both! As much as I love the design sadly the colour was a bit too bright for me and too monotonous at the same time, and the pink tones are similar to a Ferragamo scarf I already have ☹️

An insanely silly question, but I’m still new and the Hermès SA couldn’t answer this, but is the Fall/Winter collection you’re discussing what we see in stores/on the website now? So I assume they won’t release new designs for the next few weeks/months because I haven’t seen another one I’m in love with yet!

Hard to believe but I am still thinking about a Plumes en Fete GM. I never decided on a colorway, but think I may finally go for it in red. A quick question, has this design and in particular this cw been prone to runs? I am curious about people's experiences. Thanks!!

DH so thrilled we finally got to fly out & visit H boutique last week Aug 2021. Ever since the Formule chic double-sided scarf (H353595T 02) first posted on 6/26/2020 IG before it released for Winter 2020 collection, we’ve been searching up & down for it, no luck with US H online shop. So last week when we finally got to go in store, they have 2 other colorways for us to choose from!!! H353595T 03 & 04

We decided on 04 with the bright yellow sunshine in the Classic Lemans24 Formule Chic side & Daytime Formula 1 racing on the other side. DH is a super fan in both Lemans & F1 racing & this is also Hermès 1st Double-faced scarf with 2 different prints. We are so so thrilled we found this in person!

Here are photos of our choice in 04 Vert de Gris/Bleu Marine (Yellow Horse)

We got snapshots at H 03 Gris Anthracite/Marron/B….. (Blue Horse)

01 is Blue Marine/Colvert/Bleu…. (Green Horse)

02 is the one in IG with (Red Horse)

Here link with info about this first new double sided prints https://www.highsnobiety.com/p/hermes-asap-nast-not-in-paris/

I'm not sure which season this is from, so I'm just gonna put it here:

My new online purchase (still in lockdown, sadly): Neorocabar muffler, CW 03 (Orange/Écru/Noir)

I love this shade of orange, and the black and beige lines make it very easy to style with coats
